Thanks guys, yes so far so good. Have a little issue with ants ATM, do we know if neem will sort that out? It's my weekly maintenance day today so I'll be spraying with some neem, hope that'll sort the critters out. Are you still feeding any grow? My previous round I made the mistake of cutting back on the grow way to early which definitely affected bud development Sent from my ALE-L02 using Tapatalk

This is the first time I'm growing the ladies as natural as possible with topping here and they and minimal LST. So far things are looking real good. Everything is in flower. The unknown Nirvana, DC OG, Vanilla Kush, Fruit Spirit, Strawberry Amnesia and GG. The Fruit Spirit and Nirvana is very small so no expecting much, basically needed them for clones for the next round and decided to flower them out to see what to expect. The fruit spirit is a major Sativa, some of the biggest leaves I've seen for such a small plant. Sent from my ALE-L02 using Tapatalk

I believe they have discontinued the product but it's still available in places if you can find it. Added to that a good clean with pressure hose to wash most of the mites off first, they hate water. If you can't get the product then you will need 2 to 3 different products such as neem, pyrol and whatever else you can get your hands on because spider mites build up a resistance to neem and the like. Sorry to say but spider mites is probably the worse infestation of them all due to their resilience and resistance. Sent from my ALE-L02 using Tapatalk

Flipped yesterday and all looking good, taken a few clones for the next round and 420 community before flip and those are looking good 2. This round is by far better than the previous 2 so that shows progress and hopefully I'm on the right path. For those of you using Quantum Boards beware of keeping the lights close in Flower, they don't burn the leaves but those do have a major effect on Trichome development which was far smaller in my last round due to this fact. It's a bit of a learning curve using new Technology but I think I have things under control this time round. Holding thumbs lol. Some interesting science attached regarding light intensity. 1 litre of soil for each week they are in the pot, so if u going to flower for 8 weeks it's best to pot up to a minimum 8 litre pot or even better a 10 litre. Sent from my ALE-L02 using Tapatalk

No it won't weaken the plant in reason, its what you refer to as a mother plant and a number of clones can be taken from her over time. At a later stage you can re clone another mother plant. Ppl have kept mother plants for years on end. So no male is needed unless you wanting to make the seeds. Sent from my ALE-L02 using Tapatalk

Everything smokey said. I would also consider the mix from Jamie Garden Shop, he also has some other great products like a good IPM pack for the little critters. You can chat to him about what you growing and has a wealth of knowledge. Lights you can get from Growopz in Cape Town or Sanlights are also available in Cape Town. Tents and the like get from GTHydro the hydro shop in Cape Town is expensive, I just get my feed and peat pellets there for convenience. Sent from my ALE-L02 using Tapatalk
