Rephrase...I did a major defoliation at week 3 and left probably 10% of the fan leaves or slightly more but didn't strip it entirely of the fan leaves. Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk

I haven't, but I've seen a few doing it on the forums. Why not try it with 1 of the plants if you not entirely confident at this point. I have noticed a majority of them do it 3 weeks into flower and then the last week or so again. Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk

Ya, addressing the COB in your post. I'll try be more succinct or at least brief; COBs aren't grow lights, they've been adapted by DIYers to be so. Cree have commented how ridiculous they think it is, apparently. Due to this you just don't see a COB, in my knowledge and stand to correction, targeting the Chlorophyll A and B peaks, particularly the red (660nm). They hit *one* spectrum and the CRI rating depicts how close they are to that spectrum. Therefore the posted COB *seems* to be produced to target growers. Cynic: why? The tech isn't going that direction. This doesn't meant there cannot be quality components/fixtures. There have been all along, just using different diodes. If you just want to purchase something ASAP and don't have time to research or have concern of quality, go with known and used COBs (cree, vero, citizen). If you want best tech (currently) quantum boards. SA only have makelight that I've seen. You can order QB and COB fixtures internationally but customs might hurt you if the HR codes are wrong, particularly on individual components. If you want to try and learn some more, watching Greengenes and Growmau5 will help but lots to watch to get head around it. Techtalks on Greengenes channel is good place to start, perhaps. I've just added a Quantum board along with the cobs, so far with all the hassles in veg the near end result looks okay. I will be able to give a better judgement on how the Quantum boards (getting another one) perform on the next grow. I'm also including a strip of the So Red diodes. Toxicant Formation in Dabbing: The Terpene Story - ACS

Had to laugh at the example of the machine being set to a 10 second inhale...can anyone hit the 10s mark? Holy crap !! Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk -
Toxicant Formation in Dabbing: The Terpene Story - ACS
Justin Hemp replied to 420SA's topic in 420 News
I don't think the conclusion was that Terps is problem, the conclusion was more towards the excessive amounts of Terps and the damage this may cause. Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk -

It's purely there to get a feeling of what members rate of the entries. It holds no bearing on the competition outcome Thanks for the clarity on that. It's a tuff decision on your part, just remember I'm susceptible to sharing [emoji23] Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk -

So to clarify, 420 decides the winner so what is the rating all about? Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk -

Hi Admin, Is the winner judged on rating and how does one go about rating someone anonymously? Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk -

New addition to the family. Quantum boards the next best thing in terms of efficiency. They run at 60 watts each, grabbed 1 and ordered another and the So Red strip also...by far the best red out there. Will post some pics when the others arrive and added to the box Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk -

It would be organic, no the PK Booster I'm looking for its as a finishing agent added to for the last 4 weeks of feeding. So that would be to assist in bud density and Terp production with affecting to much of the smell and taste unless it enhances it. So armed with that info and not to make things too overly complicated what would you personal suggestion be? Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk -

Love the grow box! Busy reading through your journal now. Quick Q, where did you get GIrl Scout Cookie? I've been dying to find some. [emoji76] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Got that as a clone bud. If your in Cape Town we can have a look at that later down the line. Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk That'd be great, however, I'm stuck here in Joburg [emoji52] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk I've heard of ppl sending clones in the cardboard of toilet paper rolls and energade bottles and the like lol. Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk Don't suppose you're one of those people? [emoji6] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Eeeemmmmm.....yeah I would say I will have to consider it and find out what details needs to be provided for as the sender. For now she seems to be a very slow girl so I'm not to sure it's the greatest of genetics but I will give her a few more weeks or she is outta there. Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk -

Shot Toby, I have both and used them both on the vegging plants, and I'm giving them a breeze blast with 2 oscillating fans running. I will try it on the flowing plants also, should I avoid spraying the buds? Looks like I may be around week one of these bastards so hopefully they haven't got into the bud yet unless that is their preferred spot? As I understand it they like the underside of the bottom leaves. Anyone ever tried this Doom for Garden? Want to sprinkle a bit on the soil after I spray, for the critters that fall off into the soil. Would bud washing help or is the Neem and Pyrol systemic insecticides? Thanks Guys Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk -

So another day and another fight has dawned upon me in Spider Mites !!! The part that kicks me in the nut sack is I'm 3 and 4 weeks from flower, so this morning I just gave them a high pressure hose down as recommended by a friend and will be using bioneem and paper towel and individually wipe affected leaves off like a babies ass, having 2 kids I have somewhat experience in that so should only be a bit tedious but I ain't letting those critters get the best of me. All started in the veg box so I've sprayed them with neem and a little sunlight liquid (as recommended once again) Does anyone have a South African solution to these issues or is neem the only solution? States have alternative products like Azmax etc they can use, it feels kind of pointless searching Google as all I get is unavailable products us being on the southern tip of JZ ass.... Anyway, gonna get me some of that Chinese insecticide chalk and write a couple of warning letters on the floor surrounding my grow boxes. Any specific lingo I should write as a warning will be Glady accepted so pls don't be shy. Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk -

Those are the clones, most of those leaves are clipped and they are currently in freedom farms seedling soil. You think I should still go with the salts? Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk -
Hahaha, didn't think of that one. Freekin trying to imagine showing the rep and just excusing the fact the top is ripped off. I get what your saying in that the quality must have improved for them to offer a 3 year guarantee now. Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk
