  1. Why not buy a 5 pack, plant 2 & make clones to fill up your grow space & give to friends, etc. That's what I'm going to do with my Bay 11. I popped 2 & gave away 5 clones while I practise for next season ;) Sent from my SM-N950F using Tapatalk
  2. Did the prices go up? I think I paid R1100 at the time I split my order with friends , so they paid me 250 per seed. Didnt hurt the wallet so much. Lol. Sent from my SM-N950F using Tapatalk
  3. Cannabisseeds.co.za I got my order the next day. Ordered last year & the year before. I think one out of 15 didnt pop. Sent from my SM-N950F using Tapatalk
  4. I've actually never had an issue with them, apart from long delivery times. Ordered twice from them & the last order was R2400 for some Bay 11 seeds late Nov last year. They also replied to my mails a bit late, but they came through eventually. Sent from my SM-N950F using Tapatalk
  5. What's your growing medium? What are you feeding? If it's promix, did you buffer it? How old is the plant? Sent from my SM-N950F using Tapatalk
  6. I got these from takealot a while back. Cheap, but it works. I tested our tap water, & both the pen & drops confirm 6.5 Sent from my SM-N950F using Tapatalk
  7. Well, they all look really good & healthy. Even the mutant. I'm lazy when it comes to my grow, so I start off in the final pot. And I plan to move completely to autopots at some point, when I have some cash to spare. Sent from my SM-N950F using Tapatalk
  8. That's interesting to say the least... I'm actually curious about the GDP. I couldn't get any when I was looking for seeds early last year, so I went with Bay 11 which is GDP crossed with Haze & is a sativa dominant strain. How fast is your GDP growing? Mine is a pretty big bush in a matter of 5/6 weeks. In the pic, they're the 2 on the far right. Sent from my SM-N950F using Tapatalk
  9. I say you should leave them be. I've noticed 2 on my outdoor plants & no more whiteflies. They're doing a great job eating pests on mine. They will build a very tiny nest, though, so I dont want to harm them at harvest...but I'll burn that bridge when I get to it. Sent from my SM-N950F using Tapatalk
  10. If they all still look alive, then they should all root. :D Some just take a bit longer than others. Sent from my SM-N950F using Tapatalk
  11. I was forced to go the cheap route. Hortimix A & B with a bit of calmag in the reservoir. The pic I posted earlier was during the recovery from a severe calmag deficiency, they're doing a lot better since. Next time i have to remember to buffer my coco. Sent from my SM-N950F using Tapatalk
  12. It's basically an ebb & flow wicking system. The easy to go being more diy & the autopot is everything you need in a kit. Sent from my SM-N950F using Tapatalk
  13. Yup. Clay pellets/leca in the base, then promix 50/50. I'm also using an airdome to bubble air through the roots, but that's optional. Sent from my SM-N950F using Tapatalk
  14. I've honestly haven't had anything worth entering for a while now. At least I'm winning my battle against PM, whiteflies & mag lockout due to unbuffered promix. :D Definitely an on-going learning process... Sent from my SM-N950F using Tapatalk
  15. I'm a huge fan of the Autopot system. As long as your reservoir is sorted wrt nutrients, then it's pretty much hassle free. Right now I'm running a dual XL autopot system outdoors & a 15l autopot in the shed. I would advise getting an air pump for your reservoir. It'll keep the water oxygenated and clean, if loadshedding hits, a few hours won't affect it much. Sent from my SM-N950F using Tapatalk
  16. Yup. Looks like it. Sent from my SM-N950F using Tapatalk
  17. Nope, but I watch a lot of subscription box unboxings from customgrow420 & phrankiec87. Some really nice pieces. I can only window shop at little Amsterdam, lol Sent from my SM-N950F using Tapatalk
  18. When I have some cash to spare, I want to start a nice glass collection ;) . For now my goto is a vape pen & the occasional joint. Sent from my SM-N950F using Tapatalk
  19. Not at all. As long as they dont dry out, they can handle fairly high temps. Depends on the strain too. I grow mostly sativas & they love the heat, but I also haven't had any problems with the 1 or 2 indicas I have wrt heat... My biggest problem is mildew, whiteflies & the occasional bud worm. :( Sent from my SM-N950F using Tapatalk
  20. If that's what they look like after you've topped up the soil, then it's more than likely wind that bent ur girls over. They've gotten super stretchy looking for light. I would add more soil to support them & find a spot outside that gets the most sun. I'm lucky, I have a spot in my garden that gets full sun from 8am till 7:30pm ,or whenever sunset is, and it's hidden from neighbors & other nosey ppl. Sent from my SM-N950F using Tapatalk
  21. I still have a few Bay11 & a Blue dream for next year's grow. Currently have 2 x Bay11, a Royal haze bagseed & a Blueberry bagseed in flower outdoors & 2 Nefertiti bagseed & a blueberry in my shed Sent from my SM-N950F using Tapatalk
  22. I started using one of these Garland propagators on the windowsill. Works well, had to line it with clingwrap, since it has holes in the bottom & a sheet of paper to block out most of the sunlight. Could probably fit 8/10 cuttings if I leave the rockwool sheet intact. I did 5 at once & they all took. Sent from my SM-N950F using Tapatalk
  23. My first humidity dome was a 2l coke bottle cut in half & fitted back together with my cuttings inside & the cap closed, opening up once a day to get some air. 3 clones at a time. It was a tight squeeze, but I got 100% success rate with 6 cuttings. Sent from my SM-N950F using Tapatalk
  24. Seems about right, since the density of ethanol is less than water, it'll weigh around the 2kg mark for 2.5l Sent from my SM-N950F using Tapatalk
