Okay its been a long time since I have had a pest problem.. Thripes once caused me sleepless nights and since then I always try keep things super tidy. My little girls I got out side receive a bio neem spray once a week and all has been good. I've picked up growth has slowed down a lot! So last week after a close inspection I found fooken aphids in 3 plant, only in the main colas. Like deep inside! I tried to get rid of what I could by hand, then hammered them with neem, didn't seem to help. I then abused the poor colas even more with sprays of water. The next day seemed okay and then bang aphid party again. Like I said only the top colas.. Today u chopped all three main colas off :'( worried they spread to the rest of the plant and the other plants. Anyone got some make safe plan I can put into place in case they appear on the rest of the plant/plants?

Cheese day 68 since she popped. Day 36 at 12/12 -
I'll second that Narnia The GML technique is very affective, minimal stress and growth doesn't stop (slows down a tad). You can achieve a topping affect without topping and at the same time you still got that Queen cola and her sisters. I'm trying to move away from srcog and topping ,avoiding as much stress as possible. By the fourth week of 12/12 I don't like tampering with the girls.

Clearly flyfishing, my bad.. Did a lot fly fishing in PE many moons ago. I gave it a good go in saltwater but was not as successful as the fresh water.
-
Yes yes Fishing was bred into me at a young age. Strong believer of light tackle, I spin as much as I can and always amped for some Cracker hunting along the cliffs. What you into Admin?

All good Narina, this is good info! Growmau5 knocked that last grow out of the park with the comparison of MamathP and the other product (can't remember). Think he pulled close to or over 1.5g per watt!!!! SICK!!! Quantum does perform and he has put some nice boards together with step by step instruction, his a trooper!

Hahaha all good bro ✌ You learn these things, sometimes the hard way lol! Any hardware store, supermarket, Elec shop. You see the around more often now days. I would post a pic quick but that is a task on its own at the moment

Yeah some good gear on there and prices ain't bad! Just buy your self a travel plug adaptor (R27.00), Remember if the light fails in the first week and you got a snipped plug all guarantee/warranty will fall away..

Something that I have always gone back to and used over time as a guideline for growing.. The Grow Bible Robert Bregman Ilovegrowingmarijuana.com If you go onto the page you can download the Bible for free.. Growing has come a long way but for the basics and little reminders that we slip up on makes this a handy tool to have. His newsletter are very informative too, always covering a topic About growing. Just a little something

Raru.com and go to search, selected UK imports, then type in 'led grow lights'. The price you see is to your door no hidden costs 300W and 600W Bestva, Mars, Viparspectra, Galaxyhydro all good entry level lights that perform!! Some cob there as well. Have look

Yeah pretty crazy what you can accomplish with cfls! Have seen Apollo lights around, a few local stores have them in stock, not bad lights.. $272 works out to just under R3600.00 and I'm pretty sure when collection time comes there might be a customers fee +- 30% of item value waiting. You could pick up a Viparspectra 450W reflective serious with veg bloom switch for R3800.00 or the Bestva 1000w (Bossled) for a hundred more (no switch but fooken bright ass light good quality!!). Just keep in mind when dealing direct as to what protects you as the customer, make sure you you got all details as far as warranty/guarantee, who is liable for what etc.. You must be so amped to get a light in there

Hey Double R, welcome to the forum bro :-rollitupthe box used for this grow was run purely by cfl, a mixture of 2700k and 3000k. Not to sure what your limitations are for space etc? What are you looking at ordering? There are a lot of awesome entry level led lights up for grabs at pretty good prices. Raru.com got some nice imports, US and UK. They only list what they can get and price includes all courier, customs fees etc. But tell us what you have in mind bud as for your grow space?

Ahoys Zairek, this specific AK48 take me back to my childhood. Aroma is super sweet, best compared to the Wicks bubble gum with a hint of eucalyptus. Whats so awesome about it is it carries to taste more so on the exhale and when you give your lips a lick. Very smooth bud! I've been running her for over a year now, she's yummy Scale is just a standard MH-Series Pocket Scale 0-200g

So day 71 came along, harvest day the 2 September. The aroma and trichrome production was insane this time around. She did not fill out as much as what I was hoping but still pretty happy with how she handled with the low temps. Moved buds from box to bottle yesterday. I was hoping for close to 2oz but think I'll be lucky if I get 35g, they are a bit fluffier than previous but think the low temps throughout could of been the cause. Now to try and complete the process without sampling tooo much Sorry for shitty pics, phone was introduced to java... not so cool. These are all curtsey of A good OLD Nokia

Ahoys JBKush. Thanks bro! Thats a pretty decent idea I wouldn't be able to fit a bottle in there tho. Did make a plan insulating room a bit more, night temps did pick up during the grow to about 15'C.

Gets way to tech for myself too bro Cfls and I have come a long way. Its all just part of the puzzle that makes a grow what it can be, and that little piece is out of place. And once we help put the other pieces in place as well then Heisenberg is going to be indulging in some well earned dank

Agreed, definitely not the problem guys, but I can guarantee you with the CFLs it makes a much bigger difference with the kelvin rating and the change will definitely assist.
-
She's also definitely not able to convert any energy or very little. The kelvin has to be changed, she will then be able to heal and adjust quicker to overcome here stress
