  1. Agreed, definitely not the problem guys, but I can guarantee you with the CFLs it makes a much bigger difference with the kelvin rating and the change will definitely assist.
  2. High Totemic Both the Aurora and NL beans been really good!! No germ probs and only female count so far, yet to find a male.. Aurora is prob one the most beautiful plants I've seen, when she hits bud its all wow and ridiculous stacking! The NL well all I can say is ROCK HARD and high bud to leaf ratio, every bean that's popped so far. Not to sure how many you would like to trade but quite excited about both the chocolope and jack I've never grown an SA bred bean ( feel quite ashamed to say that ).. Let me know your thoughts brother
  3. She's also definitely not able to convert any energy or very little. The kelvin has to be changed, she will then be able to heal and adjust quicker to overcome here stress
  4. Ahoys folks hope everyone has kicked off to what's going to be an amazing season!! I got some regular and fem beans, I am very keen on getting some new ladies going in my tent. Anyone with something exciting they would like to trade? I would like something with a strong OG heritage. What I have for swop.. Regular : Nirvana - Ak48, Northern light, Aurora Indica. Regular : Silver State Genetics - HSO Blue Dream x Durban Poison, Jilly Bean x Durban Poison, G13 x Durban Poison *note: Silver State Genetics, they are not 100% stable but have had good grows out of the G13 cross and the HSO BD cross. Feminized : Green House Seed Co - Green House Cheeses (Big Budah pheno), Kalashnikova. Awesome day to all
  5. Ahoys Zairek how you doing bro? You still got any of those OG's in safe keeping?
  6. Ahoys Heisenberg. How are they doing bro, any progress? The CFL's your using are not going to help the ladies much, looks like you got cool whites running there. They come in at 4500k, very white and very little blue. What you want over those babies are Daylight CFLs 6500k very blue and are perfect for veg. Even if you got warm whites 2700k/3000k they would definitely do a better job there. Doubt this is the root of the prob, but really doubt she is able to convert much light to energy under those cool whites.
  7. Ahoys Duracell. Sorry bro been offline for a wee bit.. During veg I had them on about 300ppm/400ppm (excluding water reading, out my tap its 130ppm+- ), I would try and pump the a bit more and they would start curling. During flower I kept it at a 500ppm, max feed around week 5 and 6 was 600ppm and even then the tips showed dissatisfaction with that. Nowadays I just keep bit really light with her until she shows some needs. Growth rate and harvest has increased. I love the strain! See you into Nirvana I have not had any probs with any of there beans. Aurora is a beautiful plant to grow and yields are wow but not a fan of the smoke. The Northern light has some of the densest, frostiest bud I have ever grown and the bud to leaf ratio is awesome!! I want Papaya, swiss cheese and raspberry cough next. One thing I have learnt is you never stop learning with these babies.

    My current grows

High Totemic. I can't see pics bit I am very interested in how those Girl Scout Cookie auto's are doing? They are a good two months in and should quite sexy by now .
  9. Ahoys Totemic, I'm looking forward in seeing some of these strains of yours brother sounds exciting!
  10. Ahoys Duracell. The ladies come back nicely, looking awesome! What are you feeding the AK48, same as the rhino? All my AK48 that I have grown are very light feeders, they squeal at the site of to much nutes and sensitive to too much nitrogen. There leaves will twist or you'll start noticing clawing of the tips ( or random leaf fingers) and slow growth.. Noticed a few tips in the pic. I only feed mine a max of 2/3 of what the should be getting. Just what I have experienced, not sure it will be of much help but looking good bro
  11. I love math when it sounds lime that Hope no one hates me for this but I use peanut butter jars (black cat), they got a good seal, don't hold any aroma and clean easy. 75% full in them is about 20g. I normally start crying here on the 3rd/4th day of drying... Lol! Sure she will get pretty close to 2oz by the looks tho
  12. Ahoys TrailBlazer may I just .... FROSTY !!!!!! Beautiful brother
  13. Ahoys Narina, very true! It would make life much simpler, couldn't agree more. This is something that drove me dilly when I first started growing and even more so with DWC (cause you checking all the time), but once you got it all tuned in its 'A' for away I feed according to my EC reading but will always check PPM before she gets her drink. It will vary anywhere between 0.050+- Above or below EC reading. This thread has inspired me to dust off the old bucket. Got some new gear arriving and sure she'll find a happy spot in the corner . Appreciate the complement Narina they'll be at there peak next week
  14. A little something I learnt in the past, especially if growing DWC. Always rather refer to the ppm reading. If your pen reads both, you will notice checking reading that the EC reading will bounce around a lot, while the PPM reading will give quite a stable reading. This is caused by the air ration of the water (bubbles) and the EC could possibly drive you crazy. I follow the Hanna scale as for converting EC to PPM (ppmx2 =ec...) .
  15. Ahoys Zairek, thanks bro . She is looking good man! Very happy with this run. Wish I could post the aroma on the forum, so so CANDY sweet! I hate estimating weight, I always disappoint my self lol! She's still got 17 days to go max, pretty much just fattening from here on out.. I'm hoping for 2oz plus but like I said hate estimating .. We'll see how she looks end of next week.
  16. Start flushing the lady today. I will give two or three feeds molasses ph'd water to about ph5.8 , ec reads about 0.650+- . Then I'll give plain tap water not ph'd for the last week. She is still drinking like a horse! 1.5l every 3 days and the pot is DRY on that 3rd day. Still two weeks of fattening up in the way
  17. And the clock is ticking and that sweet smell is becoming over powering! I really like this pheno of the Ak48! She feeds super light and flowers a bit longer but wow! A keeper!!! Day 53 The structure you can gain from monster cropping is amazing with minimum training and zero topping. Besides the slow rooting with the cuts and a extra week or two of veg, you could have as many tops as you like. A good pruning will be needed during veg, a few times. Space them out as not to cut to much at once and preferable prune straight after a water or feed. I have pruned away during veg but since then all I have removed are a few leaves to make way for light and air. No lolly popping and haven't removed s single bud. Makes also a fruitful harvest for a cfl grow Some other Ak48 pheno's have joined her in the box. 2 on the left day 27 and 2 on the right day 32. Peace
  18. Good advice 420SA Been sharing similar words with a few
  19. I hear you you there MP, the 'pheno hunt' all very worth it tho at the end of the day I guess in saying every bean is a phenotype is quite correct too When is harvest day for those Criticals? Can't wait to see that finished bud bro!
  20. Hey MP Prob just different phenotypes within the strain, non the less impressive! I got two different Ak48's running now and they look nothing like each other, besides the same feeding traits.
  21. Ahoys MP, how you doing bro? Girls are looking lush and frosty What strain is that? Love the leaves, wild Jurassic blades!! I don't know any better way to chill than with my girls too Keep up the Dankness bro!
