Hey there Brown Dawg My personal opinion i would just go with CFL they have always worked for me in the past, My veg room is rather large so i clone using my 250w Metal Halide light. But the clones are about 60cm to 80cm away from light and sometimes shaded a little from the other larger plants, but back in the day i used like 2 14w cfls and they worked like a bomb. I personally would stick with CFL's hey. You could use that 85 watter but just place your plants a little further away.

Ok so i was having trouble with the light and even the light i have in the room is a kak dim one, and the light from my tent kept making lines, so this is the best i can do ( probably isnt the best but thats what im saying ) So here is an entry of my Cinderella 99 and if you zoom you can see the writing haha. Hey Grunter, shot bud. Did you also have to buy regular seeds then hope to god you got a fem haha. I was lucky i guess I have a really good Pheno. You cpt based. If so i can always give you a clone of it. I use Kelp extract I get from the guys who i get my soil from. but any seaweed extract will do. Every now and then I sprinkle some Turbo Grow on the top of the soil and ill add a Probiotic to the soil, another week ill add kelp another week ill add a fish and probiotic mix i have ( also from the guys who do the soil ) so i mix it up all the time. i go on how my plants look. If they start going darker green i lay off the nutes and give a water here and there. I foilar feed my plants every week right up until the end of 2nd week of flowering then i stop.

I would like to enter my C99 and Ultimate Purple Plants. Im sure by the time this comp closes my girls would have put on a bit more weight and look a bit more like models.

Hi everyone, So this is an update. The girls have been in the tent for the last 2 weeks now, stretch is over. They got pretty big i must say. This is the Ultimate Purple and Cinderella 99. The ultimate purple seems to be getting alot of purple hues all over the top of the leaves already and underneath. maybe thats just photosynthesis or what i dont know. Set up is 1m x 1m mars hydro tent 600watt hps Freedom farms soil with Biobizz grow and bloom. some turbo grow and sea kelp here and there and some probiotics, finished up the last foilar spray this sunday. Now ill add a bonemeal liquid once a week for flowering as an additive to the biobizz

Guys listen to GLO haha he actually has some good advice im going to go back to the drawing board quickly and re think this, you got me 2nd guessing now lol Im actually going to remove this until i am 100% sure

Hey bud, welcome. The only 2 things you will know is . Will it be Sativa from the long thin leaves or will it be Indica from the short fat leaves. Maybe you have a Hybrid??? You will never really know to be honest even if your friend tells you you still wont be 100% sure. Unless he took them out of packaging and showed it to you. Unforts cant really help here, Put some pics up, would be nice to see those ladies at harvest time

I can help you build your own ballast on here, if you can get all the parts I can send you a diagram or how my ballast is wired up, You will need Ignitor, Capacitor and Ballast. I will actually do a thread on how to build your own ballast and post it tonight So anyone who is wanting to do it can..... simple hey

Greetings, First off welcome to the Forum. Well done on starting your own grow and we are all still learning and where once noobs too. All you need to do is ask and people in here are super helpful. The cheapest i would say woult be GT hydro i guess for the quality of ballast you get. or build your own but get an electrician to put it together. I know here in Cpt there is a store you tell them you want a 400mh or hps or both set up and they build it for you. it really is just 3 components. NO DONT EVER RUN YOUR 250 OFF THE 400 YOU WILL BLOW THE BULB Its not like your normal home socket where you can plug any wattage in and it will work. A ballast is built to push out 250 or 400 or 600. then only time you can run a 250w off a 400 or 600 ballast is if it is a adjustable digital ballast

Hello fellow Growers, i have recently made a purchase of a lovely Mars Grow Tent. Since buying it and connecting the ouput fan i have noticed the tent sucks in quite a bit making my 1m x 1m become a 70cm x 70cm. I was wondering if anyone who has a tent has experienced this and if they have noticed a change in yield or growth due to poor lighting. Has anyone ever come up with a solution, I found this online but fist me in the eye if im going to spend 22 pounds on something that i will need 3 or 4 of just to mcguyver a product i may as well spend a little extra and buy another tent. Some might say put an intake in there but surely with enough ventailation from the bottome the tent shouldnt suck in..................but it does haha. http://www.extendogrow.com/product/extendo-product/

They are in living soil, base is Freedom farms soil with added Mycorrizae, I use the biobizz range and add a liquid probiotic same as bokashi. i foilar once to twice a week with kelp

So i have not decided yet what im going to make this but so far it has my 3 mothers ( Cinderella 99 from Brothers Grimm and Ultimate Purple from BC Bud Depot and Training Day by DNA Genetics ) I might use my out side room to veg and flower in the tent but Shjo what a tent, must say im very impressed got me a 1m x 1m Mars Hydro tent and the quality is really really good like really good. Still need to kit her out but so far have a 6inch IMF inline fan with a std birdwing reflector ( to be upgraded soon ) and the 600w ballast, i have a osciallating fan in there and its all gravy. I have taken 6 clones from each plant so those are vegging in the outside room, then might flip that to flower not sure on what to do so any help would be great actually, anyone want some clones, o yes i also got a blue cheese clone from big buddah seeds.
