Hello growers I would love to have an opinion on this topic. Let me update you on what I have been working with. I have a one plant indoor grow inside a 80cm x 80cm grow tent. I use a 40l fabric pot with both Orgasoilux and Freedom farms soil (green bag). The bottom half I use Orgasoilux(20l) and the top half I use Freedom farms soil(20l). Throughout veg all I give the plant is Biodyne Environoc 401 (microbes), Molasses and water. This results in an extremely healthy plant. Once I flip to flower I start using organic bottled nutrients. In the past I have used Biobizz Bio-bloom, and more recently I have used Dirty hands inc - Bio-Phos (Jamie's brand). I give 3ml Bio-Phos once a week early flower and up it to 5ml every week mid to late flower. Plus a molasses feeding every 2 weeks and stopped using Biodyne microbes 1 week into flower. I was thinking about completely ditching bottled nutrients and going the topdressing route for flower. I was thinking of maybe topdressing a week before the flip with Jamie's elemental blend. I am just worried if it will provide enough for the plants through to harvest. I was also thinking of maybe using my own topdressing blend of Dry kelp, Gypsum, Malted Barley and Worm Castings. Would love an opinion on switching to topdressing for flower and if the elemental blend should be more than enough to take me to harvest. If you think I should just stick to bottled nutrients for flower let me know. I am going to include photo's of my 2 previous grows using the method I have stated above. Just trying to get the best quality flower possible :) Some thoughts of mine...… Topdressing vs Liquid Nutrients? Biobizz Bio-Bloom vs Dirty Hands Inc Bio-Phos? One topdressing enough 1 week before flip? Elemental Blend or my own flowering mix? ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- My Grow: Medium: Top Half Freedom Farms soil (20l) + bottom half Orgasoilux(20l) Additives and Amendments: Molasses + Biodyne Environoc 401 Microbes + Dirty Hands Inc - Bio-Phos + Mycoroot (seedling) ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- (Seedling) - Solo Cup + Freedom Farms soil + Mycoroot -Transplant in week 2 of veg to 40l ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- (Veg Stage) - initial inoculant 2ml Environoc Microbes -1ml per litre Environoc every 2 weeks -5ml per litre Molasses every 2 weeks -Stop Environoc 1 week into flower ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ (Flower Stage) -3ml Bio-Phos every week (early flower) -5ml Bio-Phos every week (late flower) -5ml Molasses every 2 weeks -Stop Bio-Phos 2 weeks before harvest -Feed molasses until harvest ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Pictures below include TH seeds - Orangesicle + Trainwreck (darker leaves) and a photo of Orangesicle during veg

GERMINATION: My first three seeds went into baggies on the evening of 9th September. The first popped on 11th and the remaining two popped on 12th. They are in cups in Western Cape coastal, mountain soil, and the first has popped it's cotyledons. The remaining two look set to pop cotyledons later today or tomorrow. The weather is now suitably above 13 degrees most of the time, so the sprouts will be able to metabolize. Spring has sprung and new leaves are starting to show all around the garden. Of our local landraces, I favour the Transkei. It has a beautiful clean high, creative, sociable and euphorically energizing. I am hoping to do a comparative grow with a different batch of Transkei origin seed and if I get lucky I might get a male out of this grow. I have tried harvesting pollen and it is not easy for me, but I hope to get it right this season if I am lucky enough. I am going to grow in the dark loamy soil in the garden, which is on a mountainside overlooking a bay. I am strongly considering Hugelkulture with some homemade amendments. I will take some Myccorhizae samples from the fynbos and inoculate my soil before transplanting. Last season I developed my own basic kasteel combo bug control juice, which I will treat the leaves with as a preventative measure. I will feed with Lactobacillus, kelp, castings and chicken poop. I will also mix in some bokashi bran when building my pile. If I can get hold of a small quantity of alfalfa pellets I will mash some of those in too.

Hey guys! I am really looking forward to this grow. Objective is for personal breeding purposes. This will be my first time experimenting with breeding cannabis, any help is appreciated Currently growing Laughing Buddha (Barney's Farm) and Charlotte's Angel (Dutch Passion). Plan is to cross Novakane with these strains, as well as breeding Novakane F2 seeds. Novakane F1 seeds were sourced from @Totemic. On a side note, just a thank you from my part. The beans I ordered arrived swiftly, with a lot of freebies! The quality of these seeds are unmatched. Started germinating today, soaked 5 regular seeds for 30min in Explogrow. Afterwards transferring them to a 1:100 solution of Explogrow and pH 6 water for 12 hours. Am a fan of the paper-towel method, and have had great success placing said paper-towel inside a plastic bag on top of my router. Will do this next... Hi all I'm going to put some pics up here of some Durban x Columbian plants that I kept from cuttings of the last round of seed pops. They have just been put to flowering photoperiod this afternoon and should take about 12 weeks to finish. #2 #6 If you have any questions I'd be happy to answer.

Hey everyone, GreenBeans here, still new to growing although this is not my first grow. All of my previous grows were autos, some from bulk seed bank and a couple from Dutch Passion. I decided to try out growing photos. But to keep it cheap coz its just an experiment, i used some bag seed from my brothers skunk. So in all honesty i have no idea what these plants are, and just trying to get them to harvest. I started them indoors under some cfls and moved them outside about two weeks before christmas

This black poison from GSR has been going for a couple months. Not in flower yet, but about to switch any day. I made a self-watering system for a clients project, two 25l buckets in each eachother, the top one with a netted pot inserted at the bottom to collect the water from the bottom bucket. And a piece of pvc to water through, but its easy enough just to lift the pot out and pour the water in that is needed. Soil 100% organic. Compoost, potting soil, epsom salts, use a number of homemade teas ( dandelion, weed, eggs shells etc ) . No external sources of nutes except the epsoms which comes directly from the mine. I will be buying mollasses soon, always love the flavour. Water Aerated rain water only. Mulch Always mulch with dried, aged donkey manure. Holds water nicely, prevents evaporation and leaches nutrients down. Growth from 24th Nov Growth 4th Dec Sadly we are going through a heavy drought and food is scarce. My leaves are being eaten by either my dogs or chickens. They are welcome. Need to give this plant a bit of a prune and cleanup, take some clones for a last wack at a quick harvest before winter. Sorry not a great picture. But here is the growth for the past month. Happy Growing.

So I asked myself the question, " what do I do with the extra plants I have??? " Answer is, go buy some perlite and coco coir. It quite cheap if you buy in bulk and do your homework. There is a company called INFIGRO that is based in Blackheath. They're prices is good. Perlite - R220 for 100L Vermiculite - R145 for 100L Coco Coir R40 for 4.5kg block But back to the story at hand. I got myself perlite and coir as I said, then headed over to the hydro store and picked up some Calmag, a cheap pH meter (the bottle one, works OK to test pH) and headed home. Buffered the coco, flushed it and mixed up a 50 50 mix of coco perlite. Reason for going with this mix is that it's cheap, can be re-used, flushes much better and doesn't bring those fucking fungus gnats we all came to love... cough cough Freedom Farm cough cough........ I wanted to use 4 x 15L pots but sadly only had 2 spare. So I used 2 x 25L and 2 x 15L pots next run I'll do all 4 with the same size. And with that I also decided to do a little test. Main reason for getting the pH meter cause I have a bag of mineral feed used for flowering orchids. I used it once before and I worked well so I thought I'd do a test. 2 of them will be fed with Bio Bloom and the other 2 will get a mineral feed. I know there is better mineral feed out there but this is what I have on hand now and if I like the results then I'll fork out money and get better nutrition for the ladies. The Bio-Bloom plants: Shiskaberry Chocolope The 2 mineral plants: Bruce Banner #3 x Bruce Banner #3 Bruce Banner x Girl Scout Cookies The flowering light cycle will be the gas lantern cycle which means the light cycle is as follows: 8 hours on / 16 hours off. I used it on my previous grow but with that one I dropped the light cycle with 30 min every 2 weeks until I came to 8 hours on and 16 hours off. This time I am starting the cycle with the cycle at 8 /16. This method does not allow that all to well known stretch and is perfect for vegging a bit longer or for heavy Sativa dominant plants. The most stecth I noticed was 2 cm... The 1st time I heard/read about this method was on Grow Weed Easy and ever since then I always wanted to try it. Reson for the extra plants is because I love to plant seeds. I over planted and guessed I would have more males...guess I was wrong. So now I have them andagain it something I wanted to do for quite a while - side by side grow, organic vs mineral..... I know the Bruce Banner is not well trained but it was kinda last minute decision. That's about it for ins and outs on what's going down in the tent. Come on by, hang out and talk shit. Maybe even share some tips on how I fuck up .

Transplanted to 10l Moved to veg tent Still looked quite pissed off with me at this point and where we stand today Remo was a clone gifted to me, sadly came with signs of mites so she went into quarantine and pyrol torture for a week or two. she has recovered nicely and is starting to show some good growth. Below pic on arrival after first pyrol treatment Remo a substantially happier plant
