Brown-dawg
Hi people Seeing as all the seeds I popped two weeks ago have survived, I thought I would start this diary as a means of keeping track. 2 of them are CHP (California Hash plant) and the other 3 are unknown gift from a friend, I've marked them M. Soil is perlite, coco peat and potting soil. PH around 6.5-7 1x 105w 6500k CFL light Small USB fan Temps around 25C Humidity around 40- 60 percent Light on 22 hrs/ day They stayed damp too long when electricity went out so one of the CHP stems is a tad weak. This is a pic of one of the M's after two weeks. This is the little CHP that had stem damage. Looks like it'll recover. They are sharing the space with 4 clones that I have in an aeroponic cloner. It's a little home made job and there were teething issues but it seems ok now. We will know it works if I get roots ;-) That's it for now. Take it easy. Brown-dawg
Hmmm. Not so happy with the way these little guys are looking right now. Does anyone know why the cotyledons and leaves are slightly yellow now? Light too strong? Watering with bio buzz grow. Temps are around 20-22 night 16 degrees. Humidity 45-80 Light 105w cfl+ 2x 20w cfl Any useful comments welcome. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

420SA
Cotyledons are yellow cos the seedling is either overwatered or hungry
Brown-dawg
Probably overwatered then. Shit. Pretty sure the bio biz grow has enough nutrient in it for such a youngster. Thanks for the info @420SA
Brown-dawg
Waited until these guys were pretty dry then gave them an Epsom salts watering. It's now two days since then. Looking marginally better. The new O G kush CBD is looking so much better than the other plants.... Close up of one of the earlier plants 2 days after Epsom salts watering. 420SA
Have you got perlite in that mix?
Brown-dawg
Yup. I have added a lot more perlite to the same soils for when I transplant these guys on Saturday. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
420SA
How often do you water and with how much? Those seedlings are still too young to be transplanted. If you have been overwatering the root system will be badly developed too further complicating the issue. You need to try save those seedlings in their current pots there. Maybe buy some seagrow and give them a feed with that, or if you're going to go organic brew a compost tea ASAP with some seagrow in it
Brown-dawg
Duly noted. I wanted to transplant them them to get them into an airier more perlited mix but I get what you're saying about the roots. Gonna make a seagro tea aact for their next watering tomorrow. I Water when they're surface dry and and only show damp on the probe in the lower part of pot. Your help is GREATLY appreciated. I hope they survive but I guess this is paying the dues Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Brown-dawg
I am pretty certain I have found the culprit that caused my plants to go yellow! I took the wrong spray bottle from the cupboard... there was Dettol in there Looks like the new growth is improving after their seagro feed. I'm loving the little O G Kush CBD's Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Brown-dawg
So, all seedlings now in 10cm pots. Gonna give everyone 30 days in vegging cabinet and then see what's what. Adding the other 105 CFL to the light box and moving everything over to the new grow box tomorrow. Last pic in the old box. Heisenberg
@Brown_dawg - What app is that you're using as a LUX meter? How accurate is it?
Brown-dawg
@Brown_dawg - What app is that you're using as a LUX meter? How accurate is it? Here's the icon , it's just called light meter. I don't know and don't have any way to verify accuracy. But I have used it in a wide variety of situations and it seems to pick up the changes in lighting quite well. The lights it's reading are 2x 105w T5 daylight CFL's and 2x 20w warm CFL spiral bulbs Here's the reading for outdoors today Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
