greenteam
Hi All. This is my first grow so I need all the advice I can get. I am growing in coco mix with perlite and a bit of potting soil mixed in. 1m x 1m tent 400hps - 18hr - 6hr extractor fan small oscillating fan My leaves are yellowing and droopy. Once a week I water them then the next day give them water with bio buzz. I have recently started to spray the leaves with epsom salts water, will this help? I have attached some pics Looking forward to hearing what you guys think. Thanks
zairek
Welcome greenteam , well done on the neat set up. How are the temps around the plant? I'm going to guess your problem lies with your medium, did you flush the coco thoroughly?
Jland
Welcome Greenteam. Yeah tidy setup indeed How dry are your pots when you give the first water? And when you water with the bio buzz is it the very next day? Are you giving a calmag supplement? The Epsom salts will assist, but we need to correct the problem
greenteam
Thanks guys. I washed each brick of coco out once with water and let it dry. The temps are around 25-29 degrees. Yes I am watering with nutes the day after I water. I last watered on 5 days ago and the soil is still a bit damp a few inches below the surface. I am not using calmag supplement, can i get this from a nursery? So I am not sure what to do next... Thanks
Jland
Cool, I don't use coco brick but I know it should be flushed with calmag. Not to sure what the nursery might have but you'll definitely get or else Agri or online (I get all my needs from hydro store, just saves missioning around), sorry I can't help more there. As for the watering. Let her dry out then give the next feed or water. Don't feed the next day again, wait till she dries out but not droop (you want your roots to have like a breathing action, wet - dry - wet -dry..) Feel by the pot weight or stick your finger in there. Looks like you might have a calmag deficiency. I would suggest get hold of some calmag and give them a good flush. I feed nutes then next feed calmag and so on.
