zairek
So I really enjoyed my last grow, thanks to the encouragement and advice of the folks around here, I can now enjoy some really dank indoor. This grow has quite an interesting line up. Thanks to Shadow Assassin for his self-bred and refined AK48, popped 3 of 3, kudos bro. Others in the mix are some crosses from my last grow and some Kandy Kush. Hope this grow concludes before mid December. Will have to shorten veg period to 4weeks max, leaving 9 weeks max for flower. Just hoping for a problem free veg period....Hope I don't f-up ! Due to time constraints I hope succeed to log the entire grow.. peace

zairek
3 weeks from seed. Day 21 of Veg. Cleaned out flower cab and did some repotting. Plants currently under 250W HPS, couldn't get the MH fired up.
zairek
So how are things looking after the long weekend Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk Looking great, can only afford to go 10 days more of Veg. Need to harvest 1st week December. What you reckon?
Justin Hemp
Looks good man, I'm keen to seen the yeild on a short veg period Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk
zairek
Day 27 of Veg Day 0 of Flower. Flipping the switch today. Plants have been topped once, so expecting only two colas. Added guano to feeding regimen.
zairek
Looks good man, I'm keen to seen the yeild on a short veg period Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk Thanks, just hoping for a complete grow by early December. If not will have to leave grow unattended for 2 weeks or so during flower... Doable, but not ideal. Compared to my last grow, I'm noticing what I believe to be Hybrid vigour in action on my crosses from the last grow, plants are growing much faster, looking forward to see the bud formation, will try to produce a few seeds this time as well
zairek
Disaster, due to issues with municipal power supply, plants were without light for 2 days, new leaves have a light green hue around the centre vein. Hoping plants bounce back. Officially today is then Day 1 of the flower period.
Justin Hemp
So they had 2 days of darkness? How did you miss that? Could you not put them outside or in some sort of sunlight? Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk
zairek
My prepaid meter blew on Saturday morning, municipality only got around to fixing it this afternoon
narnia
Eish, 2 days, that's harsh. Perhaps a better time for it to occur, at the least, some people force extra dark hours at flip.
zairek
Really do hope so narnia, plants are looking really stressed
Justin Hemp
And this is the time you need issues the least, rushing to get it done by December Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk
Budwizer
They’ll bounce back buddy. No worries. Just don’t overreact with anything. You gotta be like- What two days darkness!??
zairek
They’ll bounce back buddy. No worries. Just don’t overreact with anything. You gotta be like- What two days darkness!?? Yes Bud, probably the worst two days living without power, but as narnia mentioned, better at 12/12 flip than during flower. Nonetheless something I wasn't prepared for, suggest all noobs research the topic. Here's a pic of badly affected Kandy Kush plant, probably suffering nute burn as well from the guano feed given before flip
Budwizer
Hey bud I don’t think the long darkness had anything to do with how those plants look now. I think you can put the blame squarely on that guano you gave them. That doesn’t look like burn to me, but rather a severe pH train smash. I may be wrong, but I base that on the fact that new growth still looks OK. Please tell me more about the guano product you used.
Totemic
Ill second that ph issue. Looks like ph swung high, coupled with wet feet.
zairek
Yo gents, that plant is in the worst condition, the others are bouncing back nicely with some minor leaf deformity. The guano product is below, never had issues in last grow, but this time my pots are much smaller so maybe I screwed up concentrations together with power failure
zairek
I crushed one guano pill and sprinkled over soil mix, then watered with Nitrosol. Next 2 days, no power...
Budwizer
Ya that Guanoflo is pretty strong stuff. Hey, lessons learned! Only water for a while now, yeah?
zairek
That's right Bud, only H2O for now. Plants seem to be happy for now. Plan to add a mild molasses dose to next feed, what you guys think?
Justin Hemp
Maybe some Kelpak in there somewhere, it usually helps for shock Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk
Budwizer
Molasses, kelpak & EM- all good, but I would correct pH to 6.2.
Justin Hemp
Molasses, kelpak & EM- all good, but I would correct pH to 6.2. On that point, I do believe the PH is really guided by the soil or would I be wrong? I have noted that the FF soil likes the PH around 6.8 to 7.0 Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk
