CG420za
Howzit Gnome[/member]! I hope you'll show us the growing process step by step. I watched something on shrooms a while back on youtube. Interesting stuff. How long does it take to cultivate? Is it strain dependent? I watched something on shrooms a while back on youtube. Interesting stuff. How long does it take to cultivate? Is it strain dependent? I will show step by step as I go along Cultivation takes different times colonisation usually takes about 2 weeks then another week or 2 for colonising the substrate then another week or two for pinning to start and a week or 3 before the next flush so on average it takes +-8 weeks But factors can change it And truffles takes about 3 months

Pressure cooker is a must at least a 10l if you want to do grains 7 would be fine if you do pf tek But pf tek you can do with a steam sterilisation As my substrate I will use horse shit and vermiculite 1 to 1 and 4% gypsum

__DANNY__H__
Where did you buy your mason jars? I can't find those things anywhere. I've been using jars that were previously used for foodstuffs (e.g. jam jars, peanut butter jars), they're not ideal...

Yes I'm using rye berries I'm struggling to get the moisture right on the sorghum The tyvek I got from a suit I'm using the sleeves with my SAB a tyvek suit will last you a lifetime and I got mine for free from someone who works at a petrochemical plant you could ask at a hardware store they will most likely have
__DANNY__H__
Do you need to keep those sleeves clean in some special manner, Gnome? As in, just throw them in your washing machine, maybe spray some iso alcohol on them? Or do you go through more complicated procedure? Gnome
I just use alcohol on it
