Toby
Hi all I thought Ill share with the community some Xmas special macyver materials Mylar / Sisalation can be quite expensive when working on a tight budget. Found an awesome alternative. xmas gift wrapping paper, the foil version. Bought 3 rolls for R15 at Checkers. 2.1 square metres. Use the reverse side. I suggest stock up for future grows. Dabtzar
Good work. Hold it up to the light, If you see light thru it, it's not gonna reflect well enough.
Toby
Good work. Hold it up to the light, If you see light thru it, it's not gonna reflect well enough. Cool thanks for the input. I kept it up to the light and its slightly see through. I have used double layer and seems to do the trick. For the price buying double is still worth it IMHO. Dabtzar
Yeah totally. Just make sure you hang it flat as possible aswell. And be careful not to let mold grow behind it, if the RH get high. You can also use flat enamel white paint. Peace
Toby
Yeah I have prepped my surface by insulating my cab with marine ply. Then Im planning to use adhesive and apply the film like a tint onto the ply. Trying to apply it as smooth as possible. Ill try it on a small piece of ply first. Dabtzar
Thats what im talking about. you will avoid hot spots like that. also remember that timber can hold bugs ect so maybe seal all your timber before covering it. also helps avoid mold from spilt water.
