Bos
Good day fellow horticulturists 1-4. Some gratuitous bud shots for you5. Our Swazi Gold lady picking up some weight.6-7. Wanted to check the conditions in the greenhouse. Tried using the terarium thermometer....it went up 65deg C - I think it's broken. My trusty IR thermometer showed the real temps.8. Seaweed FPJ brewing along nicely. White fungal colouration is supposed to be a good sign. But holy crap the smell, it's beyond stanky.9. Moved our strawberries in as well, birds and monkeys are chowing everything.LekkerSent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
PsyCLown
That Swazi looks very sativa like. How is the potency and resin production?Got some close ups of the bud? Are you flushing her currently, thr leaves look a bit light in colour. Those strawberries look great, I need to try grow some strawberries again. Will pop them indoors in my veg area I think Sent from my Redmi Note 7 Pro using Tapatalk

Who knows if she's 100% ''pure'', personally believe she's close enough- lots of research done. Google will show you many pheno's.She has the typical narrow leaves and buds have a tangy citrus scent and strong cerebral effect.Going to let her go more amber this time - more chill and less headrush. She is on the finishing stretch, been feeding twice a week to try and reduce early leaf loss- to no avail. I like to check pistils and there after trichome colouration. Plant will tell you when they are ready. The previous Swazi lady finished with very few leaves. Don't really flush in the indoor sense, we stop feeding and plants recieve only rain water for a couple of days before the chop. Will take a few bud pics.Cheers Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk

Bos
Morning leka ppl,Been a flippen wild couple of weeks. This may be the season to grow but bloody hell the weather is playing havoc on the North Coast. Cloudy rainy days mixed with thunder, lightning and 80km/hr gusts. Reminded me of Cape Town weather. Thankfully all our water tanks are full....all 6500lt and no serious damages.. 1 & 2. Swazi Gold clones are looking good. The Big Swazi mother started showing signs of revegging, so we harvested her.Luckily I took enough clones.3,4,5. Swazi Gold x Mango Kush lady from my pheno hunt, looking frosty.6.Experimenting with some hst and mainlining. Just for fun.Keep on puffing.Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
Stinger96
Very nice indeed. Maybe try and support the stem on the split of youre mainline plant.. they tend to split. .

Bos
So our grow is busting out at the seams....Summer outdoor growing season is in full swing. But with that comes issues...''Had'' a problem with some green grasshoppers and caterpillars that started munching everything....Pic 1-3. Had to move some of our Swazi girls outside as the were getting too tall and we want to see how big they get in the ground.Pic 4. Duo of Herbnation Cheese auto's. Pic 5-6. LST/HST experiment doing well so far.Pic 7. Swazi Lady doing her thing and getting big and bushy.Pic 8. Swazi clones were cut for possible future breeding.Got some Basil, tomatoes and Palermo chilli's going in my soil to test suitability. Seems good.Lekker.Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
Bos
We had our fair share of crazy weather so far this season. Wouldnt be surprised if there's a hermie or two, some plants are moving into preflower and others are solidly in preflower. Had a bit of an issue with hoppers, but got that sorted. Real glad the greenhouse can be zipped shut to avoid moths and butterflies as they can do a lot of damage and there are plenty around. 1.Swazi gold lady doing her thing and getting big. 2.Mainline training. 3/4.White widow cheese starting flower. 5/6. Non-comp Chocolope lady pushing flowers, nice and sticky.
Bos
Howzit 420SA Our ''unintended'' grow is doing great. We're enjoying the varieties (who doesnt)and learning about this awesome plant, how to grow it well and the organics that make everything tick. The happy forest. 1. Swazi ladies. Looks like 2 pheno's? 2. Three big girls 3/4/5/6. Non comp Choco ladies getting dank and sticky. Terps are awesome despite their size. (They remained very short and bushy ) Ignore the thrip tracks pls. 7/8. Longest vegging Cheese auto's. 9/10. WW x Cheese lady doing her thing. Very hardy, drought resistant plant. (May have some plans for her.) 11/12. Revegging magic. 13. My Mango kush x Swazi F3's for futher breeding. Been redubbed ''Fruit Punch'' for all the best reasons. Cheers
Bos
Aweh fellow florists Our greenhouse is getting very pretty and smelly. Almost everything has gone into flower, even the ''slower'' more Sativa dominant ladies have decided to join the party. They are recieving flowering mix with a few amendments when needed. Have managed the Ca defs with powdered eggshell and Mg with epsom, so far so good. Pic 1/2. Is a f3 auto flower cross I'm working on, dubbed ''Fruitpunch'' Pic 3/4/5 . The Gorilla lady, a cut that was sponsored by @Mambawana that I've introduced to organic soil from coco. She is frosty af. Pic 6/7. Is a Seedsman Purple Bud, only 1x of the 4 beans germed. Was planted a bit late in the season, hence the small structure, but she's doing great. Pic 8/9. We have 2x of these Herbnation Cheese autos, must be some of the longest vegging auto's ever, but finally going into flower. Very dense bushy ladies, very compact structure. Lots of flavours and scents coming from our happy place greenhouse. Cheers

Bos
Hello, May I ask if you have ever grown in a greenhouse in winter. Thank you. Hi Vanessa,We've been growing in the greenhouse/tunnel from Aug 2019, this winter will be the first. The north coast weather is very mild in winter, lowest temp about 10deg C at night, so we grow 12mnths of the year.Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
Valda
Hmmmm, North coast is great weather in winter. So yes you should be able to get away with it. I am in Gauteng. Concerned that the plants will be airy and have very little THC. Thanks for replying. V
Bos
Ahoy fellow horticulturists. Been doing some breeding work with our self dubbed ''Fruitpunch'' cross. This lady is the preliminary result of what was started with our Mango kush last year. She showed very vigorous germination and growth, compact strong structure. Soaked the beans 12hrs, transferred to moist paper towel for 24hrs and boom.... 10-20mm taproots, transplanted to soil this morning and they peaking out the soil this afternoon. They want to grow. She is relatively mould and drought resistant and technically an autoflower due to her Ruderalis roots. Introduced some Swazi gold genes to boost her structure and resistance. Harvested about 100 beans from her. Results so far are very positive, she is ticking most of the boxes for what I want from her. Some of my companion plants (gemsquash/butternut) have pm on them but none of my other plants, which to me, is a very good sign. Thinking of doing do a backcross to stabilise this wily lady.
Dank
Very nice looking flower right there @Bospatrollie2 ! Curious what kind of flavors come from a SwazGold x Kush hybrid, and Swazi Gold is a legend, havent tasted some of that good erb in years now. Bos
Ahoy@Dank We also enjoy the Swazi flavours, we have 3 ladies, all cuts from last year as we couldnt procure any swazi pollen. They just started preflowering- very late starters. The Fruitpunch leans heavily to the moms fruity sweet mango flavours, but some of the Swazi citrus does sneak in. We like the way the buds form all along her stem and branches, with the minimum of sugar leaves- she's a breeze to trim. The babies planted out yesterday have peaked above ground and some are allready 30mm tall. 12 out of 20 isn't terrible for year old beans.Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
Bos
The forest of delight is starting to get yummy. 1/2. The GG cut from @Mambawana Looking pretty, she's putting on weight and started leaning over, will be needing extra support. 3/4. Our FruitPunch lady doing what she does best and getting top heavy. We had some heavy rain for a few days last week, some of the outdoor ladies started drooping. I'm assuming it was a sign of ''over watering'',luckily the rain stopped and they all looking perky again.
