Bos
Evening 420sa I seem to have found a interesting phenotype in my bagseed batch. It grew and started flowering quick and has a different leaf structure. 3 point main leaf. Buds are real pungent and fruity. The interweb research suggests there might be some Ruderalis coming through. What are your thoughts on a bit of breeding? Bos
Good day 420saGot the lady pregnant. Going to experiment with a bit of breeding. The leaf to bud ratio seems good, the developing buds and main cola are dense with good resin production. The scent of mangoes in the morning are awesome. The possibilities are too tempting.Sent from my SM-A500F using Tapatalk
Bos
Evening 420'sHarvested our funky pheno dubbed ''mango kush'' today. Trichs looked good mostly cloudy with some amber.Left the branch with the pollenated buds on in an effort to let them ripen properly and if I am very lucky she might reveg through winter. The sweet mango aromas are driving us nuts. Sent from my SM-A500F using Tapatalk
Dank
Looking nice @Bospatrollie2 , those three finger leaves happen from time to time, usually out of some plant that is reveging (for me), as well as later stages of bud formation the plant does not make any more big bladed leaves, I would say its normal. The only way to tell if she is a rudaralis baby is to grow her under 18 hours light, or in spring, if she buds, its a auto, not impossible with the amount of autos being grown these days. If its a Cheesy Mango flavour after cured could be some MangoSkunk, enjoy the fruits! Edited May 17, 2019 by Dank

I'm not worried too much, mother nature provides.Just going to have to find the patience to dry and cure her properly.... Eishhhh. Will keep the mango skunk in mind. Bos
Evening 420saOur funky pheno yielded 48gr dried and trimmed. Some really dank fruity mango buds. Taste testing exceeded expectations. Bos
Our winter ladies doing well so far. They about 1 week into preflower and looking good if I can judge by the early trich production. Bit of an experiment, because winter outdoors is not ideal. Did a bit of cropping, have 6 to 8 main colas, trying to keep the plants short to attract less attention. These plants have the same 3 tip main leaves as the Mango ''kush/ skunk'' that was harvested previously in this thread. So far so good, we are quietly optimistic.Sent from my SM-A500F using Tapatalk

Bos
So I managed to fertilise this ''Mango kush'' pheno and she is now parking off revegging after being harvested. Seed has been planted and are growing well, they grow so well in fact that some of the beans cracked and started sprouting straight on the tree before I could pick them off.... They are on a mission to grow!! A question to the more experienced growers, is the growth in pic 3 and indication of revegging? Bos
That's reveg magic happenig right there! Where do you have her reveging? She is outside, in the sunny spot facing west with the other flowering ladies. Only getting about 8-10hrs sunshine daily if it's not cloudy.Got me thinking now....any recommendations regarding light hours for reveging? Full sun/shady...?What seems to work best?Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
CreX
Reveg happens best when there is a long light period, anything from 14hours of constant light a day. Ideally, you should have her under a light for 18 hours plus. You can keep her outside, and just put a lamp near her with a normal household globe for a few extra hours at night

Just don't want to mess with the flowering girls. I'll just seperate the plant completely.Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk

I ran my flower room from 8pm to 8am and connected the light up to the timer circuit... So my outdoor got 12 hours sunlight, and 10 or so hours with that little light... And that worked really well... Extra hours of light will affect your flowering ladies, so if you can, move the plant somewhere else and increase the light hours. Only 2 months to go before outdoor season starts again and you can let her grow into a monster Ps- reveg is a time consuming process... Don't expect to see 5 spoke leaves for a whole month.. Or longer
Bos
She was harvested on the 10th of May. So technically she going on nearly 2 months now. I'll give her some extra daylight, hopefully she is ready for the outdoor season.Been meaning to ''repot'' her- better to do that now or when she starts pushing good growth again?Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk

Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk She is quite sensitive at the moment... I don't see any harm reporting her now... But you can do that later aswell... The longer the lights are on, the faster she will reveg Note- try removing all left over flowers as they contain flower hormones that slow down the reveg process 1
Bos
Sad tidings today,Unfortunately our reveging Mango lady has given up the ghost. Reasons are not 100% clear, maybe the stress of having the remaining buds trimmed off in an effort to promote reveging was the last straw. Maybe the outside day/night temp swings 10/30deg was just too much. Maybe all the above. She was crossed with a Swazi Gold male and some of the resulting beans were so keen to grow they cracked and showed tap roots while still on the tree, before they could be harvested. Of course they were duly plantedThe resulting offspring has us quitely optimistic.Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
Bos
Hey there, I am impressed with the resulting plant, it looks fantastic, I am in the midst of breeding. And I am aiming for plants with similar structure. So imo, job done perfectly! Best of luck with the grow, I hope to be able to follow it.Thanks@SsomeguyI am happy with the results so far, ladies are doing well, but it's early days yet.Believe she will do even better in the summer outdoor season as winter outdoor conditions aren't ideal.Time will tell.Puff puff passSent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
Bos
They are growing well, had a very busy time since last update. I'll post an update with some pics, if I get home at a decent hour.Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
Bos
Herewith the update and pics. The ''Mango'' girls are doing well, the 3 remaining ladies(from previous update)in flower for this round.(4th was male) Compact stucture and resinous sweet mango scented buds.Topping early spreads it out a bit (plant 3 topped at node 5) 1 and 2 are very compact-cause I topped a little too late at node 7.This pheno seems to stay true to its Ruderalis roots by growing and flowering vigorously, basically like most autoflowers. Bos
Evening. These plants are the result of a pheno I've isolated(in process) from bagseed. The original genetics are ''from swaziland''The name comes from the sweet mango scented buds. (Where do other strains get their names) Those 3 ladies are at 13 weeks end Aug.No 3 looks like she might need a bit more time due to multiple cropping, playing around a bit tweaking my grow strategy.1 and 2 should finish in about a week, colours still a bit clear.Lekker...puff.
