I have grown a few plants outdoors, nothing fancy, just good old soil and water. Buds came out descent. I want to try and grow indoors and have a few questions with regards to lighting (yes I know...). My grow area will be very small: Length: 0.6m Width: 0.5m Height: 0.98m Total area: 0.3 square meters Total volume: 0.294 cubic meters. My question is: should I use CFL? Or should I save a bit more for a LED light. I might get my hands on a ballast en HPS soon so that is also an option; just concerned with heat in that small area. Thanks! I hope you find the forum helpful With a grow area that size you may want to consider having a very short or even no veg phase. It means smaller yields but faster results.
