Already did the others cause tomorrow is the last day of veg. The MS is start g to push more pistils even with the 1 hour of interrupted light during the dark cycle.From Monday the light cycle will change to 11 on and 13 off for the 1st 2 weeks. From tomorrow they will be switched over to flowering.The light cycle for flowering will be as follows:Week 1 - 2 : 11 on /13 offWeek 3 - 4 : 10.5 on /13.5 offWeek 5 - 6 : 10 on / 14 offWeek 7 - 8 : 9.5 on /14.5 offThis is according to the internet and tried and tested ( ) the other way is to flower out with 8 on /16 off.I'll try the 1st method to start off with but Im sure it would be fine cause the ladies gets their 12hours and more of darkness.Seeing that there are 4 different strains, each of them grow at different speeds and lengths.Here are the heights:BB x RG #1 : 21 cmBB x RG #2 : 15.5 cmRed Cherry Berry : 26 cm Cheese : 15. 5 cmMendocino Skunk #1 : 26 cmMendocino Skunk #2: 31.5 cmAnd lastly just a nice family photo.I have moved the plants to not get so much direct wind. Still need to get one of those clip-on oscillating fans. But I'm just to damn lazy to look.....lol no I'm not. I'll be ordering it soon enough. The temps is still being kept in check by Winnie the Pooh and it's staying at 23C. The cold weather is trying its part but not winning. I have raised the platform 20cm from the floor to help with keeping them warmer. The house we live in can reach 2C in mid winter.That's it for now. There has not been a stretch as I expected and in one week of flower cycle each plant only stretched 2 - 3cm. So I guess that this cycle is good for people with limited indoor space. The veg cycle keeps them short and bushy while the flower cycle doesn't allow a lot of stretch... So far. But I will surely post any and all updates as it grows.FOR THE RECORD I AM CALLING THE 2 X BB X RG, "MONSTER GORILLA" FOR WHAT IT'S WORTH But enough of that, let's get to the goodies and info on what's what. The weather is starting to change which means that the tent is not as cold as it used to be at lights out but it's still not that hot because the soil from some of the pots is still moist - - - () enough. I wanted to start the flowering feeding today but will hold back due to soil moisture. So instead I've chosen option #2 and foliar fed them all. That should help with any and all food needs till the soil dries out more. I supercropped the Red Cherry Berry and as you can see I went to town on the defoliation. I also cut out all unnecessary branches to make sure that all energy goes towards the main ones. I could've gone for mainlining but I'll try that next round. "and found that the radiation did not kill everything as the radio announced. There was life that was started indoor as an experiment. But not living up tothe high standards of their parents they were casted to the outskirts of the garden to survive on their own". For what it's worth they were started as a experimental hempy grow with clean Vermiculite. They grew slow and decided to throw them out. I couldn't kill them and glad I didn't. I would raise the plants / lower the LED light. I like to keep my light very close to my plants - this can also help keep the plants a bit shorter and reduce the internode spacing. If the light is further away, the plants may stretch a bit and the internode spacing may increase. How you have it shouldn't negatively affect the plants really, especially during veg. It is also hard to tell the distance looking at the pic and they're already raised a bit. P.S. The only reason the plants are raised is because: #1. I didn't want the pots to sit directly on the floor. We have cold floors during winter. #2. I wanted to get them as even as possible. The tall one, right side at the back, is the Red Cherry Berry. She has a tendency to stretch during flowering and is gonna make a great candidate for a Scrog later this year. I didn't see any stretch during veg, as you mentioned, even when seedlings were on floor level. The Mendicino Skunk is flowering like crazy and buds is hardening up with no ill effect with the distance. I'll move them all closer with the next grow and see what the difference is in bud quality. Well to give you an idea, I have my LED lights set to 380W in my flower tent (they have a full potential of over 480W), I have them less than 30cm from the top of the canopy and have seen no ill effects whatsoever. I have 4x QB288's in my flower tent. I feel 380W of power is overkill for the space they are in and the distance they are from the plants. Seeing that no one else except you and Greenkush ever checks in, it's a IP66 600w Floodlight. I bought it for R700 and seeing that I NEVER grew with LED it was worth the shot. Didn't have much to lose, money wise, and my balast of the HID setup started to pack up so I figured why not. It draws 1.1 Amp but I'll have to double check that again tomorrow. I've only used small plastic pots, then use the larger fabric ones for flowering. So cannot really comment on how much of a difference it makes but majority seem to prefer the fabric pots.
