I'm already thinking ahead to the F2 lucky packet. Going to be some interesting recombinations, considering the genetic mix here....

Goodness, I've been so busy I've forgotten about these.

Put in forced flower 3 weeks ago, and been treating the one female with STS for pollen collection. First spray on the day I flipped, 3 sprays in total, and the first pollen sacks are now noticeable.  Each spray I mixed with a knife point (1 drop equivalent) of pine gel to 200ml STS, instead of sunlight liquid. No burning on any of the leaves, and the gel suffices as wetting agent.

The whole family...they were meant for the ground but alas we have notice to move and have to be out by end April, a month short of what harvest time will be, so they will all go in pots.

No 1. Almost mature pollen sacks on the sprayed female. She has a strong berry/bubblegum profile, and has a balanced hybrid growth pattern.

No 2 has a heavy sativa influence, reeks of bubblegum, and is putting out a lot of hair, low leaf ratio.

No 3 has put a lot more energy into leaves, and I'm already not liking her. I will see how she progresses but even her terp profile while sweet, it isn't berry or bubblegum.

So definately going to use No 1 and pollinate Nr 2.

6 weeks flowering. All progressing well. I have a good seed set from this pollination round. Only started pollinating at week 5 flower.

I have moved away from the bloom nutes that are available due to their ridiculous price.

These plants are in 5l pots, organic medium, and been feeding seagrow in veg, and continuing into flower, and from week 2 of flower started introducing MKP(hortimix) at 1ml/l along with the seagrow, working it up to 5ml/l. So the feed ratio now is 5ml/l seagrow, 5ml/l MKP, and adding a little magsulph every 3rd feed or so.

Very sativa dominant, I kept one to flower out.

23rd November. About 2 weeks after transplanting to 20l pot. And LST.

Today. Transplanted into a 45l. Flowering is just about starting. Absolutely loving this heatwave we are experiencing.

Moving house at month end and I still have to figure out transporting her. I'll probably surround her with the beds etc on the trailer.

Oh my....her stretch is going. Any advice on moving her to a new house. She has gotten mighty big, already much bigger than I'd hoped by month end.

She is super happy though, 1.3m ground to tip, and 1m all round.

It's just how do I move her...:poke

Wait for her to dry out a bit... So that she's light enough to carry solo, if possible.

Then take a black bag and wrap the pot in the bag and tie the bag around the stem.

Then you can lay her horizontally for the duration of the trip in your boot, and then bobs your Aunty you're all set!

Alil medium will fall out, but that's why you have the black bag tied around the stem, it will prevent lots of dirt all over your car, and makes the whole process easier

Yo @Totemic you can also make a cardboard disc to push onto the top of the soil (cardboard pressing into the sides of the pot), similar to how they ship small plants, before adding the black bags like @CreX mentioned.  :-greenthumb Helps a bit with losing soil and the mess from letting them travel on their sides.

Cardboard disc just needs a hole for the stem in the center, and a slit from one side to the hole, so that you can guide it into the pot.

Good luck with the move bro.

She is loving her new home.

Her noding is tight all the way up. Bubbleberry F2 had these long nodes...with a lower yield. The choco NL F3 male has certainty achieved what I wanted, tight nodes, making those long sativa spears.

She is looking awesome man, lovely structure with those real thin leaves letting in sun to the lower bud sites.

She looks like a real producer, can see that shiz is well grown, super happy haze!

It has been smooth growing so far. Running the same feeding schedule I run my chocos(sativa heavy feeders) and the response is good.

Her yield should be good, although she has exploded over the last month, makes me wish she was in 70l instead of 45l.

She is a super thirsty girl, and having to water twice some days when its mid 30s. But in sativa stride she is loving the intense summer days.

I'm hoping she can withstand the start of winter here...she's going to be running well into May, possibly June. 12-14 weeks is my guesstimate on her time.

That is crazy growth in a 45l, and still managable to move around, perhaps a smallish greenhouse situation will see her through, or next to a sunny sheltered north facing wall.

It's the only hope I have for a Hawaiian I got growing, still in veg mode.

Finally in peak flowering. She is proving just as fussy and difficult as a haze can be. She would do very well in the ground up on the highveld, and possibly if it doesnt get too wet should do well in the next 2 months here in the Cape. Her stretch will put her at too difficult to tame indoors, unless you flower early.

I'm battling to keep up with her feedings...I have settled on a steady flow of nutes at lower doses instead of feeding once a week, and she is being fed with every watering.

Current feed/10l is 45ml Seagro, 20ml MKP. I would have cut the Seagro already but she is munching through N, P and K.
