BigOG
Hello everybody. I have already made a post in the introduce yourself section. This will be for my grow journal. I only have Experience growing outdoors so this will be my very first indoor grow. I have just finished up a indoor setup, it consists of a grow tent 1200 x 1200 x 2000 and a 1500watt full spectrum LED (150 10watt) I also have a fan inside and a temp/humidity meter. Light cycle is currently 18/6. Currently I only have one plant, it is a Cheese Candy from Delicious Seeds that is about four days old (picture is from day two) wich seems to be doing quite well. But any help or feedback will be appreciated. I will be planting more seeds tonight but I am not sure wich strains yet. Thanks ☺ Edited September 6, 2019 by BigOG
CreX
Sweetos!! Following this grow for sure Give us more details. What soil are you in? What water do you use? What nutrients will you be feeding? Show us the light. And show us some of your outdoor produce
BigOG
Awesome!☺well that's sort of why I turned to the forums! I am using Organic Soil 50% with Coco coir 30% and Vermiculite 20% I bought it from the nursery (it is quite Airy). Also I am not sure about nutrients yet and I am using normal R/o water. I will be getting a proper PH testing kit as soon as I can. I will upload some pics of the grow space and light as soon as I get home! And here are some pics of my last Outdoor grow it was about two years ago from Bagseed but the final product had quite a few seeds, but this time I want to do things properly. I also don't have much pics from my last grow that is also part of why I am making a grow journal. Thanks☺
SkunkPharm
So you have a good start to you soil. I would suggest getting some more amendments in your soil. Cannabis is quite a heavy feeder. Jamie's Garden Shop sells a pack that can just be added to your soil. If you can find worm castings it is also a good thing to add. Look at some microorganisms EM prosoil, explodegrow or biodyne envirinoc 401. Sent from my VTR-L09 using Tapatalk 1 1
BigOG
@SkunkPharm Thank you very much for the advice! I will definitely have a look at Jamie's or my local nursery for amendment's, I have read about microorganisms but I do not know much about them. Also are any or all of these products available in SA? I do have a few questions though, about the amendments because I don't want to give too much nutrients or run into any issues. So how do they work? I have had some bad experience with baby plants dying on me and I don't want that to happen. BigOG
Good Morning ☺ I have a little update this morning. Temps are at 20 Deg and Humidity is at 54%. I planted seven seeds last night, Six are in cups and one is in a plastic grow bag. They are all regular seeds so I will be looking for males during this grow. Seeds were obtained from various places and each seed will be a different strain. Strains are: Blueberry Super Lemon Haze Cheese Mango Kush Orange Kush F1 Strawberry OG Kush They were all started in the same soil with a bit of worm castings this time. The Cheese Candy is doing great today. There is a picture of the light too.

BigOG
Hello everybody I apologise for the late update, I have been away for about two weeks now and I was unable to make a post. But I am back and I will be doing a weekly update from now on! So I will start off by saying two of the seeds didn't make it, the Jack Herrer and the Cheese but I will be growing them again at a later stage.I also have two little surprises! Here is the Cheese Candy doing quite well I do notice some slight yellowing on the bottom leaves. I turned up the fan because it was getting hot last night but it blew the plant over, it is recovering nicely though. Here is one of the surprises! This one is a OG Kush I wasn't sure if it was going to make it but it did. Here is the last surprise. This one is a Ama Deadly seeds Bushfire OG F1 I didn't think this one would make it but it also pulled through. Now I will show the babies. Orange Kush F1 Super Lemon Haze The seed shell caught the leaves a bit. Blueberry And finally here is the Mango Kush. All in all I feel like they are doing quite well. Humidity is at 31% and it's 27.9 degrees.I also just want to ask everybodies opinion on Nitrosol someone suggested I use some, so I bought it and gave the three bigger plants some last night but just half the recommend dose.

CreX
Nitrisol is great! I would put it as the best you can get off most shelves in builders or anywhere that has a garden section... Nitrisol and seagrow... But if you shop alil, find a nice Horticulture store, or venture online... You can get some seriously cool shit like the biobizz range.
BigOG
I have heard of the biobizz range what would be the advantages of using it? Compared to the nitrosol?

BigOG
@CreX Thank you for the advice :) I will look into the biobizz range I want to grow the best plants I can, you know. I also notice some slight yellowing on the larger plants on the cotydeleons and on the single bladed leaves also a slight crisp on those bottom leaves. Does anybody maybe have any suggestions on what this could be?

BigOG
I have started with the Nitrisol at once a week about two days ago Does this seem like a good enough schedule? If the problem persists I will just consider getting the biobizz ☺

Smelly Joe
Isn't nitrosol a bit strong if you mix to much. Had one incident few years back and never tried again. Moved over to Guano and Seagro. What's your take on it??? Sent from my FIG-LX1 using Tapatalk

But if you follow the directions and don't exceed them, I would say go in at 75% strength if you notice anything ill with the seedlings. I actually used some last night to feed my seedlings... About to go see if they are okay
Smelly Joe
Great to hear. Guess I shouldn't let certain things cling so long when I have bad experiences. But I moved over to other products. Will get a bottle again and try it out. Good to have diversity and hope they still there and smiling Sent from my FIG-LX1 using Tapatalk

But there are better products out there for sure
BigOG
Well here is how they look right now I would say this morning is the first time I really drenched the soil. I have not been watering too much as I have had problems with over watering in the past. They are currently under a 1500w L.E.D (x150 10watts) But this is just with normal water I would normally just take a spray bottle and wet the soil at the top nicely.
