Fuzzylodgic
Today is day 7 since my seeds went into the pots. I started off by placing the seeds in some wet toilet paper, the seeds sprouted within 24hrs. Once the seeds sprouted they were added to the pots and it took them 3 days to break the surface, once they broke the surface they were placed in my grow room and have since been there for 7 days. The plants are currently under some 300w cob flood lights at 6500k. I'm running them on a 18/6 light cycle currently. Potting medium used was an organic potting soil mixed with vermiculite and perlite. I then added some bone meal and bio ocean fertilizer and mixed it all together. I have used 20L buckets as pots. I drilled holes all over the bottom of the buckets and about 3-4cm up the sides then added some stones at a depth of about 5cm, stones used were some pretty white smooth stones my wife had lying around . My grow room is approximately 1.5w x 2.5L x 1.6m high. For reflective medium I covered my walls with space blankets, yip the stuff that medics and undertakers use, it work out pretty affordable at R22 a space blanket . Size of the space blankets is approximately 2m x 1.2 m so pretty good value. The strain I chose for my first grow is the blimburn BLUE DREAM. I was pretty impressed to see all 3 seeds pop but being new to the growing hobby I killed one of the seeds by packing it to hard when I inserted it into the pots, lesson learned . Over all I'm pretty chuffed with my progress so far. Any criticism or advice is welcome. Happy farming!

Fuzzylodgic
OK so with a little help from my boss (wife) I actually have my time frame messed up. Seeds were put in wet toilet paper on the 20th of September, by the 21st all seeds had cracked and were showing signs of the tap root pushing out the shells, they were then added to the Pots and took till the 24th of September to push to the surface. Once the seeds broke though the surface they were put in the grow room. Total time in the grow room is 8 days. I have done nothing but water the plants with natural rain water that I had gathered (running low so hope it rains soon) plants seem healthy and strong and I can visually see growth daily running 18/6 lighting. Grow room temp is an average of 24-26deg with humidity ranging from 60-70%. Here are todays picks. Any recommendations when to start adding fertilizers for feeding and what would you suggest? I'm thinking of feeding Nitrosol as it's easily accessible

Bos
Cool, seaweed should be good for the plants. Doing a seaweed fertilizer via fermentation. FPJ. Wanna try it on my outdoors and for the compost tea. LekkerSent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
Fuzzylodgic
Shrubs all seem to be doing really well, topped and cloned on Sunday and clones are still looking alive. Rally hope the clones take as this is my first attempt Started feeding the blue dream plants last week the general hydroponics ferts and they seem to be enjoying the feedings. Onwards and upwards from here
