It is really easy to make with a few supplies. Small Baskets from a plastic shop with stockings over it if holes are too big. Only thing I found was DC fans worked best with the restrictions caused by the carbon. But that wouldnt be an issue if you have proper ventilation fans. I will post pics of the filters I'm building. Bru I diy almost everything. One day I will post real detailed pics of my grow set-up showcasing everything that can be diy'd.
CreX
I'm with you on the DIY stuff man... All my stuff is DIY... Only this past year, maybe 2... Have the quality of my builds gone up. Met some guys who are able to source just about anything, and now I have some really sweet DIY things! I got really paranoid yesterday about the smell... But when I got home it wasn't so scary. I went to work scroging the behemoths and finally have a canopy that I can flip
CreX
So between then and now, last year and this new year, I have gone into the veg area and heavily cut back and trimmed and defoliated and this is the result. Nice smooth ladies Bloom is another story... Iv had to flatten the canopy to scrog it and what a mission that was lol, they all responded very well to the adjustment and I'll get a Pic up when they wake up 3

Not so sure what you mean about the right of the screen? But yea, I am very active amongst the plants haha, positioning budsites in the right squares, trying to maintain a level canopy for as long as I can. I have 7 ladies under that net, 3x citradelic sunsets 3x slurricane x juggernaut And a Early lemon berry. Spent a few hours last night neatening up under the canopy and defoliating. I need to find the screws I bought for my other Qb288 so I can have 2 lights above this canopy, I don't think one is going to cut it.

For that space, 2 of those qb's would be optimal for flower, yeah.

I can't wait to see what it all looks like in full flower. Doing a Scrog at the moment as well - but far less tidy and more wasteful with space (as I didn't have time to fill up the screen). In my case an even canopy is near impossible as I am allowing everything to grow out (including the popcorn [not recommended]. Bush. Bush. And more Bush. Anyway I am subbed.

It is a 1.2m x1.2m net I built a while back. I have just finished hanging my other lights, I kept them separate this time. So I have... 3 light fixtures I dimmed the lights to 50% and am still getting fantastic coverage and intensity! If I need more power, I can always crank it up I have a lot of free evening time of late, so iv put in the time to scrog it properly and neaten up the undergrowth, General grow setups that iv been losing track of. 2

I tend to keep my screen much closer to base of the plant, top and then train the fuck out of them so the stems run horizontally along the screen. but shit gets messy and it becomes hard to clean under the skirt. By the looks of it, you going to have some serious colas, and just colas. with different strains you might not get a a completely even canopy, but its going to be befok... scrogs make for the best bud porn! greenkush
I gave him all those plants late in their growth and never bothered to do any training.

Yea, that's why I didn't fix the last 2 qbs into one light fitting, rather keep then separate so I can play with them later if needs be. I'm very excited for this grow haha 1 hour ago, greenkush said: I gave him all those plants late in their growth and never bothered to do any training. Yup! CreX
Okay sooo thrips have been a pian in my ass for a while now... Iv been defoliating like a mofo the past few days to make a dent in the population, but obviously not a cure. So I went and bought some neem oil, and some pyrol, and this morning before lights out, I got up and sprayed my Bloom tent thoroughly on top and below. Iv seen ALOT of guys burn their plants badly with the stuff... So I went in at half strength, 20ml per 2l, and added a glug of humic acids to make me feel like it's not an all out assault on the ladies... Big thanks to my 2l pressure sprayer... I can't Foliar without you!!
1000Hills Nursery
Bladdy thrips... good approach Pyrol is strong stuff. Kills even spidermites. If you like the biogrow products then neudosen must be your next purchase, it's a potassium soap that works very well on thrips.. I find the biogrow stuff expensive. I use organicide plus a garlic/canola oil mix with pyretherins in it. It's like 90 bucks and the mixing ratio is 5ml/litre. Pyrol is still the stuff I would turn to if I had an infestation.
CreX
Sweet, I'll slowly add them to my repertoire. I went with pyrol, even though plants get burnt, it really works... And then the neem for preventing a come back haha. It was pretty pricey... 210 for the pyrol, and 120 for the neem, but once I have them all dead or under control, I rate those 2 bottles will last me close to a year... So in the end not so bad
