Kiteloop
Hi Guys So been growing a nice pair of ladies this season in DWC, and doing it outdoor which has been going really really well. They are in week 6 of flower now. Plant are looking very happy and healthy but, I noticed that my EC is staying the same, and if anything, actually going up ever so slightly over say a 2 week period. Looking for some advice.
Aeradix
Algae? What's the root temperature?
Totemic
That can not be week 6 can it Otherwise, as far as I can see, your plants are overall healthy, but new growth is showing the start of a Mg deficiency. Water temps? PH?
CreX
Looks more like they have just been flipped... Barely a week into flower... You have them in sun? Iv done and outdoor DWC and it was amazing!! But what do your roots look like and what are you feeding them

Kiteloop
yeah sorry about that. those are old pics from when they just started to flower. Reservoir temp is about 25'C PH keeps dropping ever 4 days or so to about PH 4,5 I believe its because they are so big and far into flowering that they keep dropping the PH. Is this correct?

Post updated pic of the plant, we will definitely be able to assist. pH shouldn't decrease overtime, in fact it tends to increase more often than not with my experience with DWC. Maybe consider a flush depending on when the last one was done.
Kiteloop
here we go. this was taken earlier Decided to dump reservoir and flush for a day or two.
Ill_Evan
Looks alright to me, maybe someone else will spot something. Test your pH over the next few days and see how stable it is, but I suspect you should br good.
CreX
In DWC, pH drops dramatically in early flower and you will need to make sure it doesn't get as low as 4.5 ever. In veg DWC I pH my water to 6.0 at res reset... But in early bloom I set pH at 6.5 due to the massive drop in pH. PH drops due to the massive uptake of potassium and phosphorus for root zone development, and then again in late bloom when she stacks. Make sure your pH doesn't drop lower than 5.5 and you will be okay. Potassium and phosphorus are much easier absorbed at a pH above 6.2. Other than that the plants look okay... What light are they getting?
Kiteloop
Thanks for all this info. Really great. Im growing full outdoor on a balcony that is West facing. They only get direct sun from 2PM till sunset.
CreX
Not ideal but it's chilled!! Reflected light and general ambient light is still an okay source of light. More important is, how dark does the night cycle get and stay? Does the lounge light not shine onto it?
Kiteloop
So I dumped the Nutes earlier the week. Decided to flush with clean water. 3 days later and PH is back down to 4,5 Should i replace water and flush again? I also have FloraKleen from GHE, should i use this now to do a flush? Im only in week 6 of flower, sto still got a couple of more week to go
Prom
You have an update? Hydro ph range is 5.5 - 6.5... you go out of that range, you will stress your plant. 4.5 is no good! And is rather very little light.... and i mean very very little light for flowering. Can't you hang something over the plant for the shadow time? Makes a huge difference in harvest.. or end result might more resemble cotton candy then a bud
Kiteloop
Sorry for going MIA. They actually came out really nice in the end. Even tho it only received direct sunlight from 1pm till sunset. And ended up yielding 150g per plant (cured)
