CG420za
Are you gonna do your full grow with CFL's?

Brown-dawg
I'm considering a small grow with only CFL. I want to get CMH lights at a later stage but they haven't arrived yet( at the lighting shop) and these 105w CFL emit a boatload of light. So maybe a small grow, cfl. :-) Percolating on it
Brown-dawg
Are you gonna do your full grow with CFL's? Maybe. Maybe. Percolating on it
CG420za
From experience, it's not such a kwaai idea. You need alot of cfls in a small space. They produce alot of heat. I suppose this time of year you could get away with it. For a veg/mother cab, cfl's are fine. Flowering, not so fine. I used 8 26w 2700k cfl's for flower. Buds were airy. Guest Reaper
I agree with CK, Its good for Veg (especially on the power usage) but not for Veg. Ive been helping a friend for the past year with CFLs but the Yield is never great and Buds are airy. CFL just does not penetrate as well as HIDs
