oros da boss
I have a request for some help. Posting pics from my phone can potentially give away my location. I don't wish to drop a pin, on my grow show. How do i remove the exif file with the gps co-ordinates? Any help or ideas will be appreciated.

EXIF data is automatically stripped when you upload images on 420SA. No need to worry about doing it yourself 8

Psylecta
You can be extra safe and deactivate it on your mobiles settings to be absolutely certain its not included in the metadata in the first place if I'm not mistaken metadata can be extracted from any image using specialised software but don't have first hand knowledge of efficacy so rather play it safe and turn it off all together - average person has no use for geolocation in images unless one wants to play inspector so in my opinion rather be safe than sorry 2
Chris Jay
Yip, security starts at the home. Go into your settings and turn of the geo location services.
oldsandals
For any low tech members, an easy way to remove all info from a pic is open the pic, copy, open MS Paint, paste, save as what ever you like, info is gone on this copied picture...
