I have such a lens as well, but my macro lens isn't as great - it blurs the sides heavily due to the depth of field being very limited.
 
I see the new Xiaomi's have a dedicated macro camera, like the Note 9S and the Poco M2 Pro (seems to be India only, can't ship batteries out of India easily either, bleh). 

Yeah my macro lens also does this, which is why I also zoom in on my phone, to kind of crop the picture to a section that's in focus and sharp

I wanted to collect. It said coz its a 3rd party. Have to do a delivery. So 50 bucks delivery. But the ucount points covered it in full.

This would be best for zoom, long distance, not close up shots, I'd guess

That thing actually works. It's a pain to get a picture but it works. Here's a close up picture of the last inzane plant I grew (Never had trichome production like this before). In the longrun I want to invest in something proper, so I follow along. 

That shot looks pretty nice man, for real
Just zoom in a little with your phone and tap the screen so it auto adjusts focus and exposure, then take another shot.

There are handheld digital microscopes that you can hook up to your laptop, PC or mac via USB and have a look at your buds in some real clear HD quality video feed.
They are generally above 500 online on the cheap sites though, so you may have to do some looking but the slightly more expensive full HD ones are worth the money IMO.

I want one but I don't want to buy it for that reason only.

Thanks man , I'll try that but my phone's camera isn't the best either.

I also had a look at the digital handheld microscopes at futurama. I would actually like something that can zoom up to 400x or something like that.

Check here, the red arrow points to a red, crimson red at that trichome, then the yellow * to gold like trichomes...

The trichomes of the leaves will be the first to go yellow/amber.

As for the crimson red trich, that's dope.
Haven't seen one before but my best guess is that it's an amber trich, but because of it's size, makeup and refractive index, it's refracting the light to a point where it actually appears red.

Of course I could be wrong and that mf is actually red which would be sick
Just making an educated guess.

I've also seed strains secrete small blobs of resin like directly from the bud online... Looks like a small ball of sap just on the bud like - much bigger than trichomes though.

Not a bad guess and I'd like to believe that too,

Seems that it's a very mature or ripe trichome and seen a few of them on this grow, with my own mix of soil, no nute this run.

Wont do it again, will feed on flower next go...

It could also be @growopz awesome built light with its Osram Far Red LEDs, also getting used to this new lights power, it doesn't need to be close at all to work properly, getting fox tails.

There is lots of talk of it being minerals in the soil, and or strain depending. 

Get red stem, red head, and purple stem and head (trichomes).

So guys, I've trimmed up all my buds, and have them in jars right now... I'll weigh them in after about 2 or 3 days in their jars with the 58% Boveda packs. 

If I had to guess, I'd say its around 150g... Pretty low yield but I know what I did wrong this time.

By the end of trimming, I smoked a joint with a decent hash noodle, lost a small ball of scissor hash, and recovered an even bigger ball of scissor hash when I finally finished up all the buds. 

 

Got a decent amount of some frosty trim as well.
