420SA
Just came across this on GG's site. Finally we have a proper cal mag supplement in this country http://growguru.co.za/shop/cal-mag-calcium-magnesium-supplement/ edit* when I say proper I mean without the N that horti's has
narnia
Apologies for reviving old thread, but seemed better than starting another querying same; I've looked all over for good Cal-Mag supplement. Growguru don't stock whatever this was anymore Hortishop only have the calcium nitrate base which is really high in N, as you mentioned in this old post. Is there anything else on the SA market? Currently worried af at combining Epsom salts (for the Mg) with nutes and/or chelated calcium, and just about anything really, as it precipitates as gypsum (right?) so I just foliar feed epsom when needed for Mg. Really need a source of Mg!
420SA
Disappointed to see these products go off the shelves. Gthydro also had at a stage
narnia
What are you, and peeps, using to supplement Ca and Mg when required? Calcium nitrate base hortishop type and compensating for the extra N?
420SA
What are you, and peeps, using to supplement Ca and Mg when required? Calcium nitrate base hortishop type and compensating for the extra N? I haven't been growing hydro for a while now but will be next month. Right now I see Horti's calmag nitrate as the only option for buffering
narnia
Thanks Admin. Buffering coco is chill with the high N as N flushes out easily, supplementing for Mg and Ca is tricky with the extra N. Know / use a nute calculator? Hydrobuddy is hella complicated.
