Veldmuis
Good afternoon ladies and gentleman. My first post on the forum. Looking forward to being part of the community. I got myself one of these grow lights. http://sandalwoodproducts.com/product/hydroponic-led-grow-light/ Attempting my first indoor grow. Does anyone have any personal experience with these lights? From what I can gather on the internet they are not the worst. Thanks!
Aeradix
Hi, Congrats on making the leap. I don't see one of those being nearly enough to grow weed with unfortunately. 1
Veldmuis
Growing one autoflower plant. So far it seems to be doing the job. Even got a bit of light burn on one of the leaves and had to move it up. Suppose it wont be sufficient when the plant gets bigger
Aeradix
Could you find a PPFD map anywhere?
CreX
I agree with @Aeradix, that light is just too small... It has epistar 1w LED's in it apparently... So the diodes aren't bottom of the barrel at least.... But 12w is piddly.... And unless you're trying to grow a single Cola, I would suggest adding another 9 of them to make some resemblance of a light... And this would still be for only one plant. I didn't see a price on the site? What's one 12w globe go for?
Veldmuis
Thanks for the replies. Will be getting something else for my next grow. I think they go for about 12$ or something like that.
PsyCLown
I think those lights may be more for growing herbs or house plants perhaps. A single one is not ideal for cannabis, although make use of it for now I guess but you will likely struggle as the plant gets larger. You have any other light you can use along with it? Veldmuis
Nope! Any suggestions?

You could use the current light to prevent flowering and let sunlight do the heavy lifting.
Veldmuis
Just an update. These lights are more than capable of growing a plant. Growing my second one now.

Nice, what sort of yield did you get from the first plant? I see the website no longer exists as well.

Veldmuis
Nope, only used one light. My winter experimental grow was a bit of a fail. Grew a white widow auto. Plant grew to about 60 cm but had extremely stunted growth (super cold winter I presume), leaf burn etc. I have not measured yet, but think I will get about 1 or 2 g lol. Currently still curing. My second grow is looking much better. Planted a wild dwarf Auto. She is already taller than the first grow with some proper buds. Will post some pics asap!
