I guess that counts, you going for better spread/coverage? 

You gona mount them on a frame to move up and down or hang them singular? 

Having them on a frame will reduce the workload when raising/lowering the lights.

Dont wanna keep hogging the thread :P but was thinking 1 rope ratchet each so that they can be moved up and down on their own to optimise spread and coverage.

Hey man. The 3x 50w lights are doing great so far. I'm so far vegging a washing machine clone which is doing very well. I think the strain helps too because it's growing super fast. I rooted it and transplanted it into soil on the 28th of July. The other photos were taken last night the 11th of August. I'm also busy vegging 4x Northern lights and 1x Jock Horror.

Hi bud,

Yeah, this 50w is blowing my mind.

These ladies are all in 10L pots and I'm fast approaching them becoming rootbound. They have already filled up the grow space aswell, but as planned I will have them moving into the bigger space for flower and they'll be getting 20L pots by then.

I have recently put together a small aact system, been brewing teas and I have to say I think that's what's making the big difference.

The light definitly works too, but I can see the difference in all my plants.

Yeah. Thats the 1 bro. But i paid R375. 

 

Whats aact? The teas seem like a good way to go. But abit too much for me. Im keeping it lowkey. Less work grows. 

Thats why i only wana do autos. Got the good nutez ans soil. I like to sail smooth. But we can rock a few waves too.

Niiice! Hows she performing? Any pics of her running? 12000Lumens will surely outperform 3200Lumens.

Actively Aerated Compost Tea. There's a couple threads on here that goes into depth, but basically you pump air into water with your organic nutes and other microbial rich ingredients in it. There's a couple of ways of doing it. The reason to do it is to provide the microbes with some more oxygen so they can thrive better, it also supplies the roots with oxygen along with the microbe enriched tea.

I grow in FF premium classic with the aim to keep things as organic as possible. Still use some synthetic nutes here and there, but never enough to piss the microbes off. 

I plan on getting the full range of Greenhouse Power Feedings Organic range, super fucking expensive, but will never have to use any synthetic nutes again.

Yeah the light is great. I just had 1 plant under and had her about 400mm away. And to me it looks like super solid growth. But i also used the SUN about 25-30 percent of its life.

Just an update  @afternoon blazer  been 2 weeks now. These lights are performing well bud. got them 35cm away from the plants, recently cleaned some of the ladies, hoping to start training in the coming week. Giving some of the little babies away, if you in CPT hit me up a PM.

Thought I would add a quick update.

With regards to the 50w LED floodlights that I’ve used, they work great! I’ve added an extra one at the top, that’s 250w of LED lights in a 1.2mx0.6m tent. I’ve moved the propagation box out and thought I’d just leave it close to a window in the house. The more space in the tent the better.

The following plants are in the tent.

WASHING MACHINE - a mother plant on the top row producing mass amounts of nodes. 16 currently waiting to be cloned. The 9 bottom right in 5l pots have been vegging in 12cm pots for the last month or so. They were transplanted into their final pots at the time of photo. The 10 in 12cm pots up top have been potted from rooting in jiffy’s at the time of the photo.

NORTHERN LIGHTS - 2 plants to the left in 5l pots. The one is struggling from a potassium deficiency and the other recovering slowly from LST. Hopefully one can be a mother.

JOCK HORROR - looking perky in the bottom left in a 5l. Possible mother and seems to be doing good. Dense node stacking.

PEACH CRESCENDO - on the top rack in a 12cm pot being LST trained with 3 tie-downs. This will become a mother and I will run future cycles with clones from her.

GORILLA KIM - still very young vegging in a 12cm pot far right on top

almost got excited now hahah

there is a forum member who had one of these, lasted less than a month.

they even look gimmicky if you ask me. I was at ACDC in somerset and they had a huge chicken wire bin in the middle of the store with these things tossed in there and a big sign with the low low price slapped on. can imagine they selling like hot cake.

I am also not so sure that thing can be even close to 200w.

Thanks for the warning, I won't be buying any now. I was tempted to go for a couple of the 50 Watters to boost my veg lights.

I saw those lights before this thread started. Having one look at it I realized they weren't even better than any recommended flood light. I would stay clear.
