TheUltimateNoob
@TheUltimateNoob very true man. So for the next round I will also more actively adjust the stakes and soft training wire like you mentioned. I will also make more use of the training loops in my fabric pots. I also noticed on another thread that you use a skewer scaffolding manoeuvre to flatten the canopy. That might help to ensure more tie down points and less probability for the stakes being pulled out?The scaffolding helped a lot, but it was much more tedious to get right honestly... And the colas didn't really support themselves like they did with my nebula mainline because the scaffolding base created a much smaller square in which the training took place as compared to the stakes in the ground Sent from my POCOPHONE F1 using Tapatalk

John Stonedwell
@afternoon blazer thanx brother man. Yeah I am very happy wth the progress taking into consideration that I only vegged the 6 ladies with 100w QB. Only added 300w a short while ago. The Gorilla Kim has got some amazing colours pushing through. Like a red undertone. John Stonedwell
@TheUltimateNoob thank you for that heads up bro. I will stick to the stakes then. How's your other projects coming along? You still gonna try the main cola run?

John Stonedwell
Thought I'd update a bit on my 2 flux mainline flowering ladies. Shoutout to all the forum farmers that gave some input and for @TheUltimateNoob for the initial spark. Both ladies have exceptional quality with the Washing Machine growing like mad and some big bud development. Then on the other hand the peyote WiFi is building some tricome like mad. I am currently on day 53 since 12/12 flip. Washing machine Peyote WiFi

And did you encounter any issues with the training? Also, hook us up with a link to your journal if you have one going. I'm not sure if I'm subbed or not, would be a nice read. John Stonedwell
Shit I know this should probably go to the grow diary space but I just wanna share the rest of the ladies even though they didn't make the flux mainline cut while vegging under the 100w. They still followed the same topping and training schedule though. Gorilla Kim #1 Gorilla Kim #2

But with my limited lighting initially my hand was forced to an extent. So the next run will be a full 8 cola mainline on 6 ladies. (Learnt a lot from this 1st indoor grow) I got some additional 300w from @growopz while in flower and that made a crapload of difference. So that will make it 400W for the next run. The only problem with the training would be the different strains reacting differently and on the next run I am not doing myself any favours Next run will be: Franco's lemon cheese, wedding gelato, glookies, purple queen, upper cut and old school. So quite a challenge for a tent.. Edited September 10, 2020 by John Stonedwell Whack phone submitting

So quite a challenge for a tent.. Aah, I get you. Yeah I just try to make the most of my lights also, hence the training method... I found this way is the easiest and most rewarding for me.I agree with the strains reacting a bit differently, but the basics is all the same... The only issue I've had is when the strain has early staggered growth (not symmetrical)... Kind of messes up the training a bit but its still manageable. Will definitely be following your next grow. Thanx a lot brother. I will be harvesting by the end of the week and I am very happy with the buds that formed with this training technique. Definitely a method to recommend for anybody who wants thick nugs and little to no popcorn. Big up to @TheUltimateNoob for starting the thread.
