This leaves a little bit of stem on top of the 3rd node which in my experience gives them much more space and support to get nice and beefy. It should also help much, much later on to prevent the stem from splitting at that point during your last few days of flowering.

Whats happening Evan :)  great suggestion on the silica. Would this stuff work in a coco substrate? Just add to the other nutes? I'm using Atami's High Porosity Coco and fabric pots.

100% it's for hydro, and coco is basically hydro.

Been a while since the last update, still building on the initial flower production. Things have been pretty breezy so far. I didn't quite get the flat canopy between the two bigger plants that I wanted but ey

Eeeeeey guys  been kaaaak busy with a really exciting venture that I hopefully will soon reveal.

As for this grow, everything is smooth sailing. Probably why I haven't really had much to say, literally just waiting for more development from the buds 

Just been taking a couple leaves off everyday just to open up the colas as much as possible. even from the bottom nugs I'll be getting some decent popcorn. The main colas on the big plants in the DWC are just getting bigger and bigger

Slowly working towards that harvest day  opening the tent is an event every time now and the aromas are quite amazing. The Pink Mango Gelato has a very distinct and sweet smell with the resin producing a sharp vanilla smell on the fingers  I'm super stoked on the progress.

The outdoor baby is also looking classic. Not super huge buds but the shape of the whole plant I really like 

I feel like I had so much more to post about in the past and usually posted whenever I ran into snags, which were plenty and often, but now not so much

Bit of a sensitive one this lady. She's the only one that got burnt tips from a similar feeding to all the others.

Broke out the 'ol tripod ( @TheUltimateNoob, @afternoon blazer ) and took some trichome and bud shots to see where we are with harvest.

 

The outside lady (Skywalker OG) is one dirty girl  dust and bugs will definitely be on the flavour profile if I don't do a wash. Will be the first time I do a bud wash so that will be interesting. I rate in terms of harvest, I think I will begin the flush, do that for a week and harvest sometime closer to the weekend. 

 

 

Inside we are still maybe looking at harvest at the end of the month. Buds are getting orange hairs and the aromas just keep getting better. The sugar leaves look insane and I am very happy with the progress.

But I think end month harvest is rather optimistic  Can't see any amber so far. When my sugar leaves are amber, I usually start to flush. Anything with active pistils, I don't even check.. weeks to go ^^

I want to take some pics in a week with the grow lights off to get a more neutral white balance, I rate we'll get a much better idea then. At the moment the end of the month timeline is just based off of the breeder's recommendations, totally willing to go over
