I want to take some pics in a week with the grow lights off to get a more neutral white balance, I rate we'll get a much better idea then. At the moment the end of the month timeline is just based off of the breeder's recommendations, totally willing to go over 😆

Nirvana gave the Blue Cheese 9 Weeks... mine are Week 13 now hehehe Same for the Blueberry Kush.

I have no experience with indior growing.. but does your light intensity not play a major role in flowering time?
I don't think so, although light intensity would affect the yield.
Not so much the flower duration.

Based on my experience, seed breeders generally put a much shorter flowering time.
Normally 9 to 12 weeks before most strains are ready for harvest.
I don't even waste my time looking at their flowering duration.

Hey bru! Yeah I’ve been wondering this... regarding all strains really. When does everybody classify the beginning of flowering? Do the labels means from switch or from first set of average pistol arrangement? I don’t know. Havnt seen a discussion regarding it. Interesting to know.

I discussed it with someone before, they counted from after the stretch.

I count from the time I switch to 12 hours of light and I think most count like this.

I also used to count from after the stretch, but that is a bit hit and miss for me anyways as I found that not all plants look the same or have the same development at day 21ish.

Precisely, how doe sine tell when the stretch is over?

Doesn't make sense to count from after the stretch to me. It should be counted from the day you flip.
Breeders should give timeliness based on this as its easier to follow.

Once again, breeders prefer a shorter flowering time as it's more appealing and can help lead to a purchase over a strain with a more accurate and longer flowering time.

Is another 2 weeks of flower really the end of the world? You're around 18 weeks in overall if based on breeders time line, although pushing it out to 20 weeks before harvest isn't that much of an issue imo.
You've waited so long already. Wait a bit longer and get some quality bud.

No prove yet.. but I think temperature is a factor to make them ripen slower. All my plants during winter period were slower as said by the breeders. But again.. is just a guess. I just entered week 14 ^^ with my week9 Blue CHeese hehehe but i got them 50/50 more or less now.. freakin waiting is the most annoying part of the grow cycle 😂😁

Yes, I believe temperature will affect the growth rate of the plants.
Lower temps during veg certainly slow things down, although hadn't given it much thought or paid attention to how it affects flower.
In winter I run a heater though so it's over 20C anyways - although before a heater slow growth for sure.

not the growing of the plant.. the ripening of the trichomes. Took them over 4 week to go to 50% amber from when the pistils dried up. In summer, takes 1 to max 2 weeks to reach the 50% stage.

Literally where I am right now 😄 I'll probably be adding that extra two weeks myself.

Please Note the price is R 4,500 PER BOARD (I will settle for R 12,000 for all 3)
Selling Reason - Downscaling - I only have space for 1 in my new grow area, so I am selling the other 3. Also listed on bidorbuy with buyer protection, however more expensive to cover the site commissions.
