Green Leaf Organics
This is the prefilter pad I use for my intake into my grow. This is in by no means a dirty area , I am anal about my clean environment. .. Basicly the filters been running a month... and the pic speaks for its self
Dabtzar
It's crazy how much dust you actually pull into your room. What material are you using?
Guest Maxwell
Clean air is as important as clean water/nutes/environment. What kind of fan are you using there Reaf? How does the filter impede the flow?
Green Leaf Organics
I moved away from passive intakes a while ago , I use a 6" powered intake with a centrafugal fan designed to work with resistance moving about 400m3 an hour and then a 8" extracting moving about 650m3 an hour through carbon. On the intake I use batting from the material shop as a prefilter and a hepa and a secondary filter. Cheers Reaf
ajcapetown
Thanks for sharing Reaf! I use a stocking over my intake ducts... should probably get something more like what you have there as fine dust can still penetrate a stocking.
