I have seen way worse than this, some new drop 10 pack photoperiods go for around 10 to 15k...... makes my ass gasp for air.... and there's no option to buy a single seed either so it's 10-15K or nothing. even with a shit load of excessive cash, which is almost impossible in SA unless you part of parliment, should anyone be thinking about paying that amount for some cannabis seeds. the guys paying those prices make it hard for the rest of us, cause it validates the prices. ...but then again, what's the point in telling someone with "enough money" how they should be spending it that's what they pay the financial advisor for I hope! I learn mostly through stealing with my eyes and ears and what I picked up is that price clearly doesn't translate to quality, as a lot of it is just hype surrounding a something "new". although the arguement can be made, because it's new it's better, but that's rarely the case unless the individual also sees a point in paying extra to get the new Iphone a couple weeks before everyone else, there is no common reasoning with that individual, because they clearly have too much money to have a normal constructive conversation with and offence will be taken... more often than not those first batches are the problematic ones aswell and they're the ones who need constant repair or replacement. anyway... with the right information you can "fish for" much better phenos when you jump on that new new from the right breeder and all that, but you still gona have to hunt for a good pheno. in which case I'll just hang around and wait till the local clone banks make the selected phenos available for single clone purchase. boycott high seed prices 2 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I never thought nature's farmacy would let this cut out to the public on bnb. Its a high prized cut. Its a, even if you grow it outdoors it taste like indoors type of strain. Nothing genetically changed... easy to make your own seeds... then you can hunt phenos as long as you are in the mood. But picture this... you buy those 19k seeds and customs confiscate them. Right now... not importing seeds myself... lost to much cash. And now even Germany goes to legalize cannabis. The SA government will waste that much time, the rest of the world will have legalized it, till they manage to do their job here. And the advantages for early implementation are gone. Last draft from 2020 said they have to do the work, which should have been done in November 2020, in 2023. And honestly, if they dont implement it this time legal home growing, i will sue the SA government for not doing their job. Naughty.Psychonaut Posted July 8, 2022 Share Posted July 8, 2022 I remember buying weed from a friend he would always have a good laugh at me trying to pack all my buds nicely in the jars without damaging them, he would say "you gona smoke them before anyone gets to see them" then proceed to snap the biggest buds in small pieces and shoves it all in without care. so I just got more jars, fuck that irritated me sooo much these days it's out of the question, I got little time to waste and it's true, I smoke all my weed quicker than I can show it off or compare with friends and looks really mean so little when you start growing. I had a Sour Lemon OG by Emerald triangle, no bag appeal at all, very sativa-like looking, airy buds with a lot more sugar leaf than calyxes, not the frostiest... but for damn sure one of my more favourable smokes. got about 20g left and I am savouring it like I'll never get it again. 2 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I've had quite a few, not sure if the growers fuck it up, but for example, I bought into the slurricane hype when it just popped up, thought I would smoke some before growing it.... I never grew it, smoked maybe 5 different slurricanes. now I know the hype couldn't be based only on looks... cause that's all I got from it. my mind tells me out of a batch of 100 seeds you gona find between 1 and 10 favourable phenos depending on how stable the strain is. the rest is poopoo even though it still got the looks. and unfortunately that's what most of us end up with... otherwise "phenohunting" wouldn't be such a big thing. 2 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Prom Posted July 8, 2022 Share Posted July 8, 2022 It took me 4 grow runs to produce a Slurricane worth the name. The strain likes it a bit more humid then the average strain out there. Is no easy to grow plant.. but when you get it right.. very aromatic weed and packs a punch. Still pity the smell of the plant is nowhere near the flavor you get when smoking. Have friends calling it their preferred.. so the reputation comes from somewhere. Is very easy to ruin your weed during dry procedure.. I got last year from a trade in pack some weed, gave my Gelato. Weed looked good, smelled ok, nothing you go WOOOOW.. but smoke was bitter and rather tasteless. The guy said he has sleep issues and need some remedy. Old school cheese #2 autoflower from fastbuds reversal, pollen sacks are forming very slow, might not be able to get #1 pollinated in time. Either way Ill save the pollen. The one in the front left corner of the tent is a reveg attempt from upstairs. Shes definitely a different kind of monster and Im going to keep her to take clones for spring. I was getting worried about the pollen sacks forming too slowly so I upped the sts to twice a week. But luckally there are lots of seeds forming on the mother plant. As long as i just take her to all amber i should get a few hundred seeds for the outdoor season. Gorilla Cookies from fastbuds will probably be the next project.
