So I've started a small Home grown mix of Lemon Jedi Og. Male (Dark Horse) I think. @Bay Seeds And a very dank Gorilla Glue Cut I received as a gift.. After I grew and flowered the original mother.

Pale as shit... seeds was not what I normally look for but any way...

So started germing them...

 

Keen to see What they do and to get a good male and female together again and again and again...

All nutes and soil is from Freedom Farms. Pro Biotics and Premium Classic soil.

I kept both males, I figured they were crazy expensive and why not keep both. You dropped your plant off  just as my two males were coming into flower. 

 

 

She stood right next to the 2 males. We hand pollenated from the purple one only. That's her in the black pot with the green delsticks.

These babies are showing some vigour but have issues with leaf minors.. I've noticed that when the sun sets, the top leaves droop and the bottom leaves pray.. First time to see it..

Germinated round 40 seeds from about 60 put in paper towel.. so the germination rate not that great..

Hoping for allot of females to choose from. Will isolate harvest and discard any selected males.

The LGO's are coming along nicely. Lost a few to a rookie mistake with a soil mix I should have known to be to hot.. Some I managed to save in time.. Topped a few and fimed the rest.. Planing on vegeing them outside, take cuttings when they show sex and then finish them off Indoor. Wich would be my first indoor run. Stay safe guys and girls

Me neither bud.. First male popped out.. So I should have some pollen soon. Seem to be a Strong Sativa.. I'll monitor and see if I find a better one. No sex in the others yet but I expect it to be in the coming week.. The selected girls will then be put into 30L Pots.

LA little survivor looks to be a stronger Indica, if it's female she would be the one I will pollinate. This is really just to satisfy my need to learn from the plant, I know that breeding is far more complex if you want to do it correctly.  Breeding is definately not my end goal. Local veriety in my Curing Bottle is though..

I've noticed some heat stress.. It's been a scorcher the past few days.. The little black pots are just getting way to hot.

Also had a few scorchers up here on the north coast. (2 of my black planter bags laying outside actually melted together.)

Small black pots will heat up fast in the sun. I use 5 and 10lt planter bags and they get hot in direct sun, even my 75lt tubs get very warm to the touch. Some mulching or a topdress with some straw or hay will help to keep the soil surface cool and reduce evaporation and heat stress.

You could try elevating the pots off the ground to avoid futher heat transfer from the ground or paving.

@Bos Thanx for the input.. appreciate it.. They are standing on a pallet.. I'll be putting up some netting to help. The mulch thing I will try again.. Had some issues with it in the past but will soak them in some Peroxide.. Had all sorts of nasties crawl out of it in the past.

Good evening Growmies..

So I separated the male from the rest just in time before his first premature ejaculation... I could not collect any pollen so will wait for the next flowers..

He is now on my bedside table to ensure he does not get lucky with the autos..

The rest have not yet shown sex but they healthy atleast.. Little bit of heat stress and probably a bit root bound but no real issues..

I'll pot them up as soon as they show sex and get rid of any extra males.. 

The runts are tagging along and it is the first real mutants I had to deal with.

Evening guys and gals.. So culled 3 more males.. First time ever to have so many males at once. There is only 2 left except for the runts and it seems as if one more is male... Started germinating another batch..

was hoping he is a she and started training. Waste of time..

The original male I kept is only starting to flower again now but will cull him as well.

Hi, I seem to have a very similar mutated seedling, see my post. I'm interested to see how the new growth comes out the bottom(middle?), and what the overall structure ends up like..

So what a disappointment... only left with the runts as all the other turned out to be male... my first time ever.. with @Totemic 's genetics I have a 90% female ratio and any other I ever germinated I never had more than 30% turn male.. Anyhow.. Selected a new male and discarded the rest.. New seeds germinating at the moment.. Out of 8 got one good male and now I hope for some females to select a candidate.. Green Thumbs to all..

No bud... your beans give me a constant 90% - 100% female ratio.. always.. It's this Lemon Gorilla Og of mine I want to get a bit more stable.. But my first run gave me all males...

The Two tall ones on the far end are both your chocholate gelato females. 

The f4 pack only germinated 2 and both were males and got pulled. Very nice males but the gelato won.

Going to cross him first with this strawberry cough im flowering inside on 12/12.

Yeah had the same experience with the gelato males out performing the other males I had at the time.

From whom is the Strawberry cough? 

Adding the cookies genes may reduce SC stretch(if you have a stretchy pheno...most are)

Dutch passion. The other 2 are very stretchy and 1 still has a lockout and is still tiny. But they are not in the best spot for full sun, competing with my vegetable garden. But the soil back there is great. The lemon jedi crosses have all the best spots.
