Chris Jay
Looking grand bud, nothing better than eating and smoking from your garden. Just a heads up, looks like your watermelon has early signs of powdery mildew, and if so, that stuff infects everything. Chris Jay
Looking delicious. You get any gooseberries? I have had hundreds, but all the animals get to them first. I have not eaten one this season.

Pants
No prob. It’s actually a complete cheat. Getting the logs preinnocated at the nursery for R99 each. They have a couple of varieties. Fruited some shiitake last year, they seem a lot more finicky than the oysters. Whereabouts are you? I get them from Harry Goemans near Kommetjie Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Bos
Also did a bit of harvesting of another kind. Been dabbling in chilli sauces, smokey jalapeno and cayenne and very soon a batch of hot habanero. The last of our tomatoe harvest, getting too hot on the north coast for them now. Sweetest sweet potatoes we ever tasted, grew in 50/50 canabis soil and sand mix in a 75lt tub.

Looking delicious @Pants. What sauces you making? Gooi some recipes here to. A mate of mine ( comrad ) is also making sauces, tried his delicious jalapeno vinegar relish a couple nights ago. So we had a couple drinks, a nak attack, some laughs and he wants me to start growing chillies for him. R99 per kilo of fresh chillies, I think I am in. My best sauce is from a local farmers ( Brians Hot Sauce ) sauce here, he has never and never will share his recipe. Its that old Portuguese style sauce. Eat it with a teaspoon, its not hot, just tasty, spicy and delicious. My only recipe I have used is simply, crushing chillies, garlic, salt, pepper, cannabis and steeping it in olive oil. Never really developed further from that.
Pants
So started working beginning of the month which gave me less time in the garden. I completely missed these beauties hiding behind the leaves. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
