It is the same tent, these light house tents are really not bad at all. Very decent quality

Onto week 4/6 respectively,

Dp’s are shinning here, keeping both phenos and running em again. 

Chems are going in the trash, my first thought and I’m sticking to, is that they don’t like soil, which is not the end of the world, but is a great recipe for attracting pest, namely thrips which I’m sure about now. 
 

let’s see if we can get them to the end some how

Got three Brix test and results are here for any interested eyes.

Dark Phoenix no. 1 - 15 ; front right;

Dark Phoenix no. 2 - 12 ; back right;

Chem d no. 1 - 9 ; front left;

 

will be employing further feeding, but not much. Maybe a little molasses right Mr @Prom

Update time, dark Phoenix are doing good, Chems are also doing much better, the bugs have seemed to slowed their attack. 
 

not interested in the Chems going forward though. Maybe they will be a nice smoke, and some outside pics.

The Chems are a super fussy plants and in my limited experience with them take long to finish. Mine has been going for 11 weeks now and I cannot see a Amber trichome.

The only way I can see this type of plant performing well in my grow style is if I ran it a couple of times to get used to the soil.

The plant needs a lot of available nutrients at the moment, which my system just cant supply.

I agree it is a heavy feeder. And the nutrients needs to be available at the right time. She may do better in freedom farms with the biobizz range of nutrients.

Ya any bottled nutrients and a fresh bag of soil. Not my type of genetics

The trouble makers are outside. They seem to be a lot happier here.

Gave them a good dash of aminos, molasses, microbes, epic and aloe powder. 

on week 6 1/2 and 8 1/2 here. Still much colour in the dark Phoenix, just been getting water.

Those are lekker looking shorty pots you got there. What literage are they? I have a few 70's from Freedom and they feel too tall for indoors, I 've gone no-till and growing veggies in them outside instead.

yeah I've notice the same thing. With some of the bigger sized pots, how much of a different in terms of how the root like wider pots, im not too sure. I like these potsthough, they are the 40L max grow pots from Organics matter.

Another week, fade is starting. Plants are inside again for weather concern, not ideal but they surviving. And then then this auto, got me highly intrigued

Hello garden folk, quite a while since my last update.

But never the less, we are starting to grow again.

Of my last round above, I kept clones of the following which I will be growing again.

 - Totemics DSC x Bruce Banner x 2 (This plant just amazes me the growth, laterals, and nodes dense all the way down)

 - Totemics Tortoni (Keeper pheno) x 1

 - Grandpa stash (both phenos, will grow again to get better expressions)

 - Chimpancheese (Nice yielder and beautiful smoke, not only cheesy but more fruity etc.) x1 

Then I planted 4 seeds of SKY Stomper by Smiley Angels (MAC Stomper x Sky Cuddler Kush F3) 2 popped other 2 fadded away into the puddle of muddle I created, oops, tad bit heavy handed.

Cool beans, these will be grown in the new greenhouse, stay tuned. 

Then some images of the Tortoni and The DSCxBB.

Nice one broIm also very impressed with the BB x DSC. Ticks all the boxes. My only gripe was the susceptibility to bud rot. But that is a given with such dense buds accompanied with high humidity and untimely rain during late flowering.

Ya, bud rot is unfortunate, but at least it means you grew massive colas

So we are growing again, and this is the first run in the new greenhouse from a SA company called easy greenhouse, https://easygreenhouses.co.za/ very helpful and delivery didn't take long.

Still a few more tasks to tackle namely, extraction and circulation fans, but for now, we have power and spotlights for extra veg time, blumats installed and digital soil moisture meter.

a few wasted days/weeks however, as the environment is still being dialed in, and so is the soil, from the colour of the cover crop and plants, the soil is in well need of nitrogen and other basic dietary needs, which I have top dressed and watered in about a week ago. 

Whats growing... 

 - 1 x Chimpancheese (first plants nearest to the door)

 - 1 x DSCxbrucebanner

- 2 x Grandpa stash (in the 20litres)

- 1 x Sky stomper reg(in the 15L) there is another one but it got fried after a couple of IPM sprays

- 1 x Tortoni

- another 1 x DSCxbrucebanner 

Cheers, lets see how easy or kuck hard it could be to grow in this greenhouse. 

Temps and Humidity shoot to absolute extremes despite the current season, so cold and wet at night 99% humidity, but really hot, 38 sometimes 40 degrees in the day, and 20% humidity. Don't think this will be feasible during summer. However ventilation is on the cards.

Whole new ball game.

I am so jealous of that greenhouse, I been eyeing them out for a while now, they really awesome, interesting you mention that about the heat, my plastic tunnel was like that.

 

what you need is a door on the front and back so air can move through it

Cheers man, yeah is really beneficial growing space, surely won’t be easy though. Yeah, ideally it could be just frames and air could move everywhere. Will update when exhaust fan goes in and effect thereof
