I am nearly done with another project where I am isolating a mother from a pack of 10 Regular Tortoni F1's. I got six females and I am eyeing between two really good looking ladies. They are about halfway now through flower.

This fem Tortoni for the comp is really just for fun fun. I'm already so up to my tits in mothers and clones from building up my stable over the last while.

I have repotted into a 17L fabric pot and also topped and trimmed The One so I may begin the training.

Plant looks a bit droopy due to drying out the pot in preparation for the transplant.

I watered with 0.8ml Grow/Micro/Bloom + 0.8ml Silicon per litre.

All the branches were looking a bit min and I would usually expect them to be a bit longer by this time but I decided the top needed to happen soon if I were going to commit to it. I'm hoping the fat fan leaves will help in pushing power to the growth node and push those branches a bit faster. I have a feeling now that it only has the single set of branches it will push faster at those points.

Day 40 - 16 Days Before Flip

The One is nearly ready for LST, just waiting for a little bit more length on the branches before beginning. It will definitely be in the next update.

Otherwise continuing with the same nutrient regime as stated before, fed once since last update.

16 days until the planned flip so I think I will have just gotten the training done in time.

She's been through some trauma, but nothing can stop The One. She should grow quite vigorously from this point on.

LST is now in full affect. I want to trim the second nodes on either side and then top again. I want to see how big of a 8 cola manifold I can get.

We're doing the Groot hand again y'knowah'mean?

I thought about this, and the way I see it the plant is already taking from the initial growth (the now ugly looking leaves) to make up for the new growth.

I agree, I think a removal of them in due time is warranted, I think at the same time as I make the next toppings. The growth spurt should be in full swing by then to account for the stress.

Carefully planned stress and well timed. πŸ‘Œ Makes good sense then all the lower nodes will start branching out nicely.

These guys with their monster bushes, pfffft πŸ™„

Just finished the training on The One, probably the most effort I've ever spent on training a single plant πŸ˜† she's looking nice and level, kinda reminds me of umbrella thorn trees.

So now I am thinking of when to flip and the final shape of the plant. Basically a week until the flip deadline so thinking of just going right until the end.

Very nice canopy management on the one and only. Well done.

The force is strong with this one :-clap

The soft switch deadline has arrived and before I miss it I have then officially flipped The One and made space for her in my already pretty full flower tent! πŸ˜…

Plans were made and I have found her a space. I did a final little clean up of the lower branches as with this training technique I have found in the past that keeping the lower branches has always resulted in airy buds, so I'd prefer the energy being diverted to the tops.

Otherwise, haven't changed much. I will do one more feed at 1ml/L of the Gro/Micro/Bloom and thereafter start with the preflower nutes, say in a week or so.

If you can find a crate or something to raise her up a bit... She will definitely benifit being closer to the canopy of your other plants, even a 20l paint bucket will do the trickπŸ‘Œ

Would hate the already established flowering plants to over crowd her or block dem photons

Not when the LEDs are blasting at full. Remember the rest of the tent have now been in flower for a full month.

You got the right idea, but more patience is warranted to prevent initial light burn.

Welcome to my grow diary πŸ™‚  Dare I say this competition should be interesting πŸ˜ƒ
Seeds in water and to be planted out later today. Loved seeing the dark colours on the seed, very different to what I have usually seen πŸ˜Ž
Good luck to all taking part πŸ˜ƒ
