CG420za Posted October 4, 2015 Share Posted October 4, 2015 Morning ya'll So my first grow cabinet is sorta done. I just need to change my exhaust fan and make the carbon filter. The fan I have is way too loud. I can hear it from my room and the cab is in the garage. The lighting rig and reflector is DIY too, panda film FTW! What do you guys think? 3 x 45w 6500K spiral CFL's (Veg) 23cm deskfan 87 CFM 120mm fan (need a quieter one) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I was thinking, if I suspend the fan instead of mounting it directly to the cab, it'll be quiet coz the fan powered on in hand makes almost no noise. I have some 100mm flexi ducting that could work. I'm thinking of dropping the Northern Lights this week coz I'm going to be plagued by high temps later. I saw 31 degrees yesterday.
