L3Vi
Good day buds. I have a plant at 6 week of flower and have some very bad shots of the trichomes. This is my first grow and those who can make out the color. Should i start flushing or do they still have some ways to go? Thanks for any advice. Weskush
Yo bro. Those trichomes are clear. Note that you should look at trichome colour on the buds themselves and not the leaves. The leaves trichomes mature way faster than those on the buds.Wait until they are milky with about 10% of them amber. Harvest then. At least another 3-4 weeks. Personally i don't flush for i grow in living soil but if you use synthetics then its your call. donnob
What he said depends on what effects you're after though. Like for me and the effect I'm after I probably wouldn't wait too long on the amber, I'll harvest if I see mostly white and as little clear as possible but that normally comes with some amber here and there, exactly as @Weskush said Also, send us some shots of the whole plant and buds. For me trichomes are the last thing I look at. First signals are pistils that have mostly turned brown/orange, there will just be an overall mature look to the plants. I only start to look at trichs when I see that. But then again, some strains could throw you a curve ball...

L3Vi
On my next run i will definitely do more training and a lot of thing differently but for my first grow so far i am happy the 2 small plants was just a bit of a disappointment if there buds ended up being as small as they are now. I would like to see them fill out some more.
Weskush
They look good man. Those buds still need to fatten up quite a bit. As mentioned by @donnob look for leaf fade, pistils turning brown/orange and curling into themselves and then trichome colour. Also try your best to keep the bud sites as dry as possible to avoid bud rot during flower. Patience will be rewarded

donnob
Yup, sound advice, some patience is required here , your plant has some way to go still, bonus is those buds should still fatten up nicely

L3Vi
Hi to all. My plant has been yellowing and dropping leaves. I promise you the next neigborhood can smell her. The buds are huge and starting to become a hassle as i carry the indoor and outdoor to manipulate the light schedule(in capetown sun from 5am till 10pm). She is leaning over and her pot is filled with roots i am unable to stake her anyfurther without damage. I would love to get her in a jar, any thoughts or is it not worth it and i should just bear with it? Thanx 1
Weskush
Normally when you think that she's ready for harvest, give her another week. If you really can't wait any longer and risk causing damage by moving her in and out, remove the fan leaves and let her sit for a day or two. No water. No need to carry her outside. Then harvest.
