Toby
Morning guys, Update day 50. End of week 8. Some of my ladies on their final lap before harvest. Light cycle currently 9.5 hours on and 14.5 hours off. Have been pumping the feeding to their limit trying to maximise bud production. I am very happy with the way they have responding. Some picture below.
TrailBlazer
Doesn't even look like they're fading yet. Beautiful frosty buds.
Toby
Yeah, theres about from 2 - 4 weeks to go before the chop. Hopefully they will swell more till then.
Green Leaf Organics
Looking good Toby, nicely grown bud. Just as a FYI strains can put as much as 30% onto there weight in the final week of flower so you should still see a lot of swell.

Toby
That is some beautiful growing @Toby. Have you tried the 12- light cycle? Thanks jacks, I am currently growing using the 12-1 technique. I am sold, this lighting schedule will be my new default. Significant savings on energy, which is easy on the pocket in the long run. Toby
Howzat y'all, Flower day 60. First time I am looking at my ladies with the lights off as I run my lights on at night and off during the day. The light cycle is currently 9hrs on and 15hrs off. According to my schedule they from 10 days to 21 days till harvest. I stopped feeding and started giving them molasses and some calmag till harvest. The trichomes are moving from clear to cloudy, no ambers as yet. Aiming for a 50/50 amber cloudy ratio. I see some of them started purpling due to winter, always thought it was because of the LED that they looked purple, lol. So far I have been blessed with this grow with no pest and mother buggers chowing on my ladies. I hope its stays like that. Very happy so far. Some pictures at lights off. Toby
Shot gents. To date this has been my best grow. Biggest lesson I have learnt with this grow. Keep it Simple, Less is More. I used no monitors like temp and humidity indicators as I did not want a factor to let me react over even over react. If the environment felt right for me must be right for the plants. I know its not the right approach but wanted to check the result by doing less things. I would only react if the plant tells me to. But ja thats my As far as the lighting technique is concerned, I would recommend it. Its saves on cost and mimics nature's cycles more naturally than the standard technique. jacks
I am sure I posted on this topic, recently? But top quality buds there Toby. Looks almost perfect, nice dense buds, can smell em. Its definetly about listening the plants rather than just feeding them on schedule. The plants adapt very quickly to too much or too little. Like you say keep it simple, less is more. Lovely policy to have in the garden. I have started from a low simple base and kept it as simple as possible, trying to use the least amount of energy in inputs and build slowly from there. 12-1 definitely helps in the policy of use less, grow more. Toby
@jacks yeah you are right. I have adopted the lighting schedule based on your post. Shot for that Thanks for the input. I totally agree with listening to the plants, synchronizing and being in harmony with them. The whole growing process becomes more pleasurable rather than a task and becoming frustrated when things go wrong. Efficiency and optimization is my approach, so the 12-1 definitely contributes to that. I like that. "use less, grow more"
Toby
@Skolley shot bruv. I was looking at between 350-400 grams yes. I am self very interested to know the final weight. Ill post up my final weight once determined. Thanks for the input on soilless growing. I most probably mentioned this before but I don't like having to continuously measure to ensure it's within the correct ph range. However I am definitely keen on trying it out though. Will be a totally different experience compared to organic.
Toby
Good day folks, Update: Day 70 of flower. I can feel this grow is coming close to its end. There are about 10 days left. Some of the trichomes started turning amber. With the coldness we have been experiencing its giving the grow a nice colour as its drawing to a close. Gorgeous colours and aromas. The current light cycle is on 6hrs on and 18hrs off. Some pictures below.

Green Leaf Organics
Be carefull that's way to low..... you getting over purpleing which reduces photosynthesis a lot , as well as slowing down the growth of your plants . Anything under 15 degrees for an extended period will will cause your plants to not grow to there best . Purple plants are pretty but that's aesthetics. Toby
Thanks GLO, I was concerned with the low temps during the lights off period. I have made amendments to my winter grow cycle to factor the coldness in. Ill plant them out later to finish off in September where temps are more in the desired range. This was an exceptionally cold winter compared to other years. Great input Thanks
