Dabtzar
Show us the front label? There is one or two great products with microbes available locally.
Guest kimcarsons
It's a good mix for sure. But what does it cost and where is it from. It is mainly lacto's and will contribute mostly to Nitrogen uptake. Microbes make really good foliar sprays and new science indicates the possibility of bacteria being the actual cause of photosynthesis. To the point where plants can be grown with no light, provided the bacteria are stimulated correctly.
Guest kimcarsons
Dude, that has fish on the front of it. It is called pond something or the other. It is not compatible with hydro, or at least it is going to cause more headaches than fix. If you use microbes in hydro you must use them in tiny amounts, and preferably photosynthetic bacteria, not only nitrogen fixers. Just use EM Pro-soil. It is designed for what you're looking for. Guest kimcarsons
Do as you see fit. This doesn't need a hack. Do proper homework and you'll find those organisms to be less than ideal. The wheel is round, leave it so.
ajcapetown
Sorry to hijack the thread but have any of you used EM Pro Soil? Kim I noticed you mentioned it and I went onto their site, looks fantastic. Do you use it to globally inoculate your organic soil mix while it cooks or is it used as a soil drench or foliar to add microbes?
ajcapetown
Interesting graph, thanks. Looks like the pond stuff has most of it in. I went ahead and ordered some EM Pro Soil.... its R105 a bottle if I remember correctly off the top of my head. Hoping it arrives soon so I can put it to the test.
