cheese420
Yeees lol I remember that quite well....Just wasn't so sure of the medium used that time or if you only been using coco since. Kush seems to be quite a staple in the genetics you run
TrailBlazer
Yeah, I didn't plan it like that but I always seem to gravitate towards the kushes.
TrailBlazer
UPDATE Day 27 of 12/12 and 17 of bloom. Defoliated the last 2 plants, the Lemons, on Wednesday night. Now you can get a better idea of how much foliage I take. You can also see bud sites more clearly now. They have already bounced back, and are all pointing to the sky. Last 2 photos are of the same LC-OG. The larger one. I wish I could take clones, because she looks like a winner. She is budding up much faster than the others and she is also starting to pump out some trichs. She looks like a keeper. When I open the tent now, I get a strong aroma of rotten fruit and gym socks. Bliss... LOL!
Toby
Looking fantastic, great job bud.
TrailBlazer
UPDATE Day 30 of 12/12 and 20 of bloom Nothing much to report. Last 3 pics are of the champion LC-OG. She is building bud faster than the rest.
cheese420
Definitely seems like you found a keeper with the LC-OG :thumbups
TrailBlazer
Yeah, definitely. A stinky girl as well.
TrailBlazer
UPDATE Day 32 of 12/12 and 22 of bloom Just chugging along. Nothing explosive yet. Took a few more pictures this time. Last 3 photos are of the larger Blue Venom. Buds are smaller on this strain, but they also started budding up later than the others. So they are a few days behind at least. TrailBlazer
I'm sorry to hear that bud. Do you have a journal up for your current grow? Oh... and thanks bud!
TrailBlazer
Never heard the term guttation. Now I have some reading up to do.
cheese420
Awesome update man....Did you take a clone of the LC-OG or any of them in fact?
TrailBlazer
Thanks bud. I haven't taken any clones. In fact, I've never taken clones of anything. Just don't have the space for it. I'm hoping to go perpetual within the next year. When that happens, I will attempt my first clone. LOL!
cheese420
Lol well growing from seed is pretty exciting...always a chance of a real gem being grown out I think I will join you on getting a perpetual grow going..currently only have a very tiny space that a pu clones/start seeds
TrailBlazer
Yeah, perpetual is where it's at. Knock that harvest time down to every 8 weeks or so. Bliss...
TrailBlazer
UPDATE Day 34 of 12/12 and 24 of bloom. Plants are steadily budding up. The 2 Lemons have packed on the most bud in the last 2 days. I think it's a safe bet that they will be the biggest yielders in the group. They are right at the back of the tent, although the green glare makes it hard to see them in all their finery. Next update I will take pics without the glare of the HPS. Last 3 photos are of the smaller LC-OG. Her buds are smaller than her sisters, but she sure is a frost queen. She looks a little more sativa as well.
Toby
Excellent stuff, Trailblazer. Not that I am a big expert on coco growing. This is pretty close to textbook. Well done bru
TrailBlazer
Thanks my man! All of sudden my cap feels too tight for my head. LOL!
DeltaLabs
Ffs, that hulk green, no brown pistils at all, juiced to the gills green, yet no burnt tips. does it get any better looking than this. respect. Been following and drooling
TrailBlazer
Thanks bud! I'm loving these ladies. They put out! LOL!
TrailBlazer
UPDATE Day 37 of 12/12 and 27 of bloom Plants have moved up another gear. Right on time as well. This has been a very predictable grow. Only thing that concerns me now, is that the larger Blue Venom looks to be ripening up. Her pistils are starting to turn, but her buds are still very small compared to the other girls in the tent. I hope it's just a little stress and not that she is maturing. Last 4 photos are of the smaller Lemon OG Kush. Love the 2 Lemons. They are solid performers.
cheese420
Ah man that is an update right there....Can see they have moved it up a notch....Think your yield target is most definitely in sight!
TrailBlazer
Thanks bud. This weather is a bit concerning though. It's fucken pouring with rain and humidity is now sky high. Hopefully it clears up soon.
TrailBlazer
Morning. Temp was roughly 24 and RH was sitting at about 80% this morning. I left the tent wide open for about 80min, and then it dropped to 20 deg and 70%.
TrailBlazer
Thanks for the info bud. One of my concerns is that with high humidity, plants drink/eat less. Not what i want at this point. I see the weather looks to be clearing up though. Let's hope so...
TrailBlazer
UPDATE Day 39 of 12/12 and 29 of bloom Not much to report, other than the high humidity has stalled the plants a little. They are still swelling, but not at the same rate. The weather seems to have cleared now, so humidity should drop. Thought about skipping this update, but I am a creature of habit and it has been 2 days so it is update time. Last 5 pics are all of the bigger Lemon OG Kush. She is the best smelling plant I have ever grown. It smells like pure candy. The dairy smell is not so prominent anymore, but the sweet smell is almost overpowering. It has a citrus smell, but it's not quite lemon. Too sweet for that. My wife says it smells like naartjie mix-a-drink. It is that sweet smelling. (Just googled naartjie and realised it is an afrikaans word for tangerine. Didn't know that)
