Guest Skolley
Lurking around the site, I came across this again. Guys talking about "A" grade, "AAA" grade etc. Of course, everyone here who's "been around the block" once, wants to grow at least "A" grade. But who decides what's A grade, and what's not? Is there some reference that someone can point me to? Of course, the matchbox you can buy from the guy on the corner, full of seeds, and compressed, is not A grade. But are we all growing A grade? What do we measure against?
TrailBlazer
It's pretty subjective, but my take on it: To be proper A grade, there should obviously be no twigs or seeds. Buds should be dense, and trichomes visible. Well manicured. The smell and taste should be pleasant, and of course the buzz should be good. Properly flushed, so no sparking when you smoke it and no unpleasant bitter after taste. Someone else might have a different opinion though. Laus1995
Last time I checked it had more to do with the look of the weed as opposed to the high. You can get AAA, AA, and A off the same plant. It's how it is presented to the buyer that determines the grade.
