Good Morning ladies and gents.

Growers of all ages levels and experience.

 

I have a couple of years experience with Cannabis.

But not growing at all.

I always had a passion for growing but was to scared to grow.

Well last year I decided enough is enough, I can not let my passion pass me by and not make it part of who I am.

Agriculture is my passion as i want to farm more than anything else.

 

So pulled my guts in and bought two system.

 

I cant remember all the details but it goes something like this.

 

Tents 1.5 x 1.5 x 2.5

Air cooled reflector hoods (8” Raptor reflector)

8” Silent series Fan (Exhaust)

6” Inline Fan (Inlet)

1000 Watt MH and 1000 HPS (not running same time)

Digital ballast

100L reservoir

Smart pot (Breathing)

Drip system - 2-way 4l/h Drip set

                   - Inline Micron Filter

                   - F2400 Pump

Nutrients - Bio Grow

                - Bio Fish mix

                - Bio Bloom

                - Kelpak

                - Em Pro Soil

                - Mycoroot

 

Clean air is pulled in from Window close by tent and the outlet is going into the roof.

I need to find the right place where I can get a type of cover for the inlet fan. I saw a post of someone using material or stuffing from a material place.

Any ideas what i can use? I was thinking of those filters that they use on the woodsaw's or sanders? any ideas on this?

 

Currently seeds germinated, but I Forgot the Ph test the water, so will be flushing with 6 PH water with a very low level of nutes 1ml to 1L water and I will be adding Kelpac to help with shock. Should this be fine?

it does look like I have some stunted growth and hope they wont be too stressed to turn herm or male.

 

Currently growing Strawberry Amnesia from Dinafem.

I am also using a coco and perlite mix of about 60/40.

 

The tent humidity stays around 45-55% have not seen it go higher than that.

The temp does not go above 30 degrees.

I will double check it again tonight.

 

Managed to kill my 1st dutch cheese seeds so lets hope and pray I don't kill these.

 

From reading all the forums so far the main thing every one ask is, do yo have enough ventilation.

At the moment it creates a negative pressure inside the tent and the inlet runs for about 15min every hour to bring in clean air. Any advice on this would be great.

I will not be playing around with C02 yet or even at all. it appears that allot of growers feel its not really worth the trouble.

 

I am now busy setting up a twice daily check list to ensure I don't miss anything again,

last watering

What nutes used and how much plus Water PH when watering

last time preventative maint on for bugs

 

If you can think of anything else to put in there please let me know.

 

I am a noob grower and all my info comes from reading and reading the cannabis bible.

Amazing forum and i have picked up enough in the last two days reading posts to have been able to fix two of my problems already.

I will asking idiot questions, I will annoy the people, but this all in my aim for what I want to become.

Grower of the best highest quality herb in SA and to one day enter the cannabis cup.

 

Any input on the above will be much appreciated.

I am looking for a growing mentor, someone that will walk the road with me.

So inbox me with ideas anything. i am sponge at the moment and there is no such thing as bad information.
